No problem. These Solas folks seem intent on selling so its providing a good entry point. Imagine having that size position and decided open market sales into a bad market are the way to go? Idiots. Anyway, just sold some more APTS which I was gonna wait to next Monday on, but CLPR and VRE just said hello so I couldn't resist picking up some more.

Thank god for oil calls. I'll call that Sold my remaining heating oil I had in left in the tank (120 gallons) to some guy on craigslist for $4.75/gal. Paid about half that for it last winter. Going to be a good market for wood stoves this coming winter.
E. Nashton Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 JOE, BRK.B, BAM.A, SRU.UN and some smaller adds to GOOG and AMZN.
thepupil Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Twilio bonds @ 6.9% yield. $5B of cash, $1.3B of debt, market cap ~15x the debt value. Had previously bought at $86 and sold at $92 over 8 days. then < month later at $82. nice volatility in the bond market. there's tail risk with anything, but i think the company would be hard pressed to be worth <$1.3B.

Viking Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Last 2 days: BAC, GIL, RECP, DIS, AMZN, META Down to 60% cash. Will continue to sell down some positions on strength to keep bringing down my average cost as i do expect big volatility (with lower lows) until the Fed flips to dovish again.
modiva Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Bought C, MU, EPSN. Added BRK. Considering KLAC, ATCO.
Gregmal Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 I’m personally waiting for single digits on the S&P to blow my load. Just kidding.
CassiusKing1 Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Picked up some BRK yesterday $284.66. Also added to INTC.

aws Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 More Berkshire in the 270s. Feels good to see prices like this again. Also shorting a couple of puts (270 for 7/1 and 265 for 7/15).

Spekulatius Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 (edited) ATVI (merger arb). Sold part of my HENKY (crystallizing tax losses) and bought AKZA (AKZOY) from proceeds. Edited June 14, 2022 by Spekulatius
no_free_lunch Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Small position in META. Seems too cheap. 12 PE and 15% of the market cap in cash. Not without risks of course but at these prices I'm willing to roll the dice.

no_free_lunch Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 I guess it is 10%. I was including Cash + Receivables.

PPG offered 96.75€ in 2017 vs. today's price of 70.74€. PPG P/E 25 vs. AKZA P/E 16. Selling paint is a simple and good business?
