I'm tempted to buy the inverse Jim cramer fund.  SJIM

Following a significant inflow (yay!!!) I bought 10% OTM calls on $ZROZ and $VT because I don’t have many high conviction ideas at this time and just want to cover myself in case of a big stock/duration rally. 
 

I am posting this in case anyone else is feeling dumb or out of ideas or timid. Maybe just park in t-bills like everyone and their brother is talking about, but also maybe consider that you may be wrong and consider capping your opportunity cost. This will obviously cost $.

Welcome to the club. I’ve been toggling with attempting to determine whether I’m just really lazy or simply not finding anything but for the past couple months I haven’t really found much worth doing. Your bonds are my INDT, MANU and RFPs. Today threw some ATVI on the list. But generally speaking, pretty bored right now.

I almost bought some ATVI this week.  I've recently decided I like LUV (edit: nothing special here just recycling the WEB analysis of ~15% earnings yield and due to industry structure, likely to grow over time; only update is that I think covid/zoom impacts clearing up and the stress maybe even firmed up the view that the industry is a real solid oligopoly, with a bit further consolidation on the come) and have been thinking about some GE or K leaps.  Almost certainly beyond my depth there.

Yea Im semi allergic to the large caps but still hold out hope Ill find a decent one soon. Cant Costco just go to $350 already?

Same. I don't really have any high conviction ideas. Been slowly adding more of a value tilt to my portfolio with some emerging markets, bank stocks, GVLU, BRK as well as sitting on more cash than usual waiting for something good to come along.

Sold GOOGL/KKR/PYPL in my retirement account and purchased slightly more shares of each in my taxable account. Trying to get as many of my tax inefficient securities as possible into retirement account. Eg tobacco, reits, etc.

Sorry if thats not the theme but I wish you could elp me with an issue. In IB, I have profits in my P&L and I have never sold anything. How it can be that my return since inception is negative?

Started BIP in my retirement account with proceeds from sales of non / low dividend paying stocks which I switched to taxable acct. 

 

Added to BTI and PM. 
 

My 401k is starting to look like a seeking alpha dividend growth portfolio with a twist of BX variable dividend.

The bad joke above aside, the ad targeting here on this side really blows. I don't know why the algo here thinks that I am target audience for female swimsuits. I would have expected some ads from Ken Fisher here or crypto scams.

 

For  while, I did get an ad for mail order brides from Ukraine, which at least makes some sense based on keywords that were discussed here in one thread.

I have not clicked on anything, despite the tempting displays. The ad AI definitely watches what you are typing or elsewhere looking for. Ever since I have researched and purchased a car, i get bombed with car ads in youtube for example, but I have never seen a car ad here on this site.

added a little SWBI. It dropped 6% yesterday, I assume it was on a false rumor that was trending on twitter that that they endorsed the Proud Boys (They showed a photo with a tacticool shirt from Perception Brands ("PB") which the outrage mob assumed Proud Boys merch).  

 

added a little VSTO (still a small position but the ammo part that I'm interested in will be the remainco, and the whole thing doesn't look too bad now that they fired the acquisition happy CEO).
