In the cycle, it’s Christmas time, once again,

Time for family reunions, lively discussions, not meetings,

Forget the mixed signals that will always remain,

And enjoy, hopefully alive and well, this year’s Greetings.

The security, not trading over the counter,

More value tied to the exchange with another,

Like in investing, the ideas not found in manuals,

But in rituals and the appreciation of fundamentals.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas everyone,

felt elf hat's are fun.

Light up for Hanukkah,

with a cool crocheted yarmulke.

It'll warm up soon for Ramadan,

hope there's no need for taqiyah.

The previous prose,

has a quirky sounding flow,

but eventually it'll rhyme,

just give it some time.

Merry Christmas everyone. All the best for 2020 and beyond. This is a great community of smart investors. I certainly receive more than I give from this board. So, I contribute to some local very worthy causes - where almost every cent goes to the cause.

Happy Holidays!

I was browsing my old stuff pile today and came up with this nugget from Forbes, March 30, 2009:

the S&P, recenty at 696, could hit 460.

All I can say: good luck to everyone at CoBF!  8)

I joined this site 7 years ago, right at the start of this huge american bull market.  My net worth has climbed almost 4x what it was back then.  Some due to saving, much due to investing.  I have for comparison an account which I kept all in ETFs and other accounts where I actively invested in  the stocks we discuss here.  Needless to say, the ETF account has significantly under-performed against my berkshire & fairfax portfolio.

So I would just say Merry Christmas to you all, and please, keep the ideas coming.

Happy Holidays All!

Thanks to everyone for making this a great site and for all your contributions.

Happy New Year soon! 2020, wow that seemed so far in the future at one point for me I would have envisioned something like the Jetsons.
