compoundinglife Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 TQQQ with a stop at $80. Just a short term trade in the event we bounce Why TQQQ (nasdaq) over UPRO (SP500), just curious.
Gregmal Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 More leverage, and tech heavy poo poo stuff should lead the way. If I was looking to hold overnight or longer term I'd find a different vehicle(duh).

TwoCitiesCapital Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Sold my final put position. Held onto quite a bit of cash, but started selling cash covered puts on names I own (VIX is at 34!) and purchased more Fairfax India.
Viking Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 BRK (again) Buffett commented Berkshire would fall less than the general market in a sell off. Let’s hope that is true :-). Having 20% of market cap in deployable cash has to matter at some point.
Charlie Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Bought some more Berkshire B shares. :) Today morning it looked like some panic selling. Help them when they want desperately to sell. ;)

Meanwhile stuff SPCE is up 5% ::) edit: Make that 9% Hopefully Warren is buying BRK too. Hopefully WEB is buying BRK in *large volume*. His letter left the impression that he was shying away from grabbing large volumes because he didn't want to push to the price up or to even support the price in a down-market. IMO, it's time to throw all of that out the window. Today you can buy BRK at 2018 market prices, which are quite obviously a considerable discount to current intrinsic value. It's time to stop caring whether re-purchases happen to push the price up by a couple of dollars per share because it's far more important to seize this opportunity to actually grab some volume. These are NOT 95-cent dollars! SJ
sleepydragon Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 during the last couple of days, bought 3M, BKNG, FIT
Gregmal Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 BRK, little bit of PCYO although volume is low, and starter in long time favorite that Ive never actually pulled the trigger on, INFO.
chrispy Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 While Berkshire is cheaper then last week, aren't there greater bargains in good quality companies to be had right now? Nearly all of Berkshires holdings have decreased in share price more then BRK
