Something that’s already been ongoing as per multiple reports. Fascists You do realize that that's the rule in France and other European countries? Parsad Posted January 16 Posted January 16 9 hours ago, cubsfan said: It's very clear that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I don't think you're American, so you get a pass. The Somali gang scheme was enabled by the Democratic leadership of Minnesota: Gov Waltz, Mayor Frey and State AG Keith Ellison. When the government whistleblowers appeared on the scene and informed MN state leadership about the vast fraud against MN state agencies - both Waltz and Ellison departments retaliated against the whistleblower in order to cover up the fraud. None of that is in dispute, as there are affidavits and congressional testimony to the retaliation. Not to mention the kickbacks to Ellison & Waltz re-election campaigns. Unfortunately for you 85% of the fraudsters are Somalis - already arrested and under indictment. Which is perplexing given the vast $$ they are concealing while 85% of the Somali community are on welfare. It's all political. Won't be a good day when Walz resigns and is indicted. Many of the whistleblowers are now under Federal protection from retaliation by Walz and Ellison. It's only the largest welfare fraud in US history. Prosecutions: By mid-January 2026, federal prosecutors reported that 92 individuals had been charged in connection with broader state fraud schemes, with 82 of those being Somali American. Small facts you seem to have ignored. Weren't the Somalis behind the Savings & Loan Scandal as well? I think Enron too...a ton of Somalis were working at Arthur Anderson back then. Angelo Mozillo also had a predilection to hire Somalis at Countrywide...he enjoyed their dog and cat breakfast wraps! If Countrywide had not failed, maybe Trump's casino in New Jersey would still be around and never went bankrupt. Those Somalis have "alot of esplainin' to do!" Cheers!

You do realize that this is indeed not Europe and this is in the United States, right? And that “showing your papers” was abused by the Nazis. This came before concentration camps and hanging from lampposts. I think you are being absurd in comparing the US system of law to Europe, and in thinking fascism automatically = concentration camps. Hoodlum Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Initial agreement between Canada and China look promising. Canada is allowing 49k China vehicles into Canada (3% of total vehicles sold) with the expectation that a manufacturing facility would be built within 3 years. Some farmers and fisheries will benefit from significantly reduced or eliminated tariffs. Next up with be India in the next few months. https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releases/2026/01/16/prime-minister-carney-forges-new-strategic-partnership-peoples To help deliver the full potential of these partnerships, and build up our domestic manufacturing sector, Canada will allow up to 49,000 Chinese electric vehicles (EV) into the Canadian market, with the most-favoured-nation tariff rate of 6.1%. This amount corresponds to volumes in the year prior to recent trade frictions on these imports (2023-2024), representing less than 3% of the Canadian market for new vehicles sold in Canada. It is expected that within three years, this agreement will drive considerable new Chinese joint-venture investment in Canada with trusted partners to protect and create new auto manufacturing careers for Canadian workers, and ensure a robust build-out of Canada’s EV supply chain. With this agreement, it is also anticipated that, in five years, more than 50% of these vehicles will be affordable EVs with an import price of less than $35,000 {Canadian dollars}, creating new lower-cost options for Canadian consumers. Agri-food and trade are foundations of the longstanding relationship between Canada and China – and China continues to be our second-largest export market. To renew and strengthen that relationship, Prime Minister Carney and President Xi secured a preliminary agreement-in-principle with landmark measures to remove trade barriers and reduce tariffs: By March 1, 2026, Canada expects that China will lower tariffs on Canadian canola seed to a combined rate of approximately 15%. China is a $4 billion canola seed market for Canadian producers, and this change represents a significant drop from current combined tariff levels of approximately 85%. Canada expects that Canadian canola meal, lobsters, crabs, and peas will not be subject to relevant anti-discrimination tariffs from March 1, 2026, until at least the end of this year.

Something that Biden and Co, as well as Fauci and Co were busy doing. I don't recall you complaining about that five or six years ago. Something that they are busy doing in Europe - where the former Finnish Interior minister has been on trial for objecting to her church celebrating homosexuality. Try to post something in UK against immigration, particularly from Muslim countries and see what the government will do... You do not seem to object to that either.

Man you must know me really well to know exactly how I feel about these freedom of speech issues including the ones from 5-6 years ago! On the topic of speech, I don’t recall you ever complaining about the FCC’s behavior on speech under the current Trump administration. For the record I do think the UK stuff is horrible…but I fail to see how that’s relevant to fascism in America. Ps I have no clue what Pravda on Hudson is nor do I read the NYT. Trump's foreign policy can be defined as: short term win for Trump, long term loss for America. The Canada-China thing, and Canada-India thing later (assumed) is not a bad thing for the US. Stronger NA partners, more economically independent of the US, and more able to contribute to 'The Golden Dome' over NA. What cannot be publicly done directly between the US-China, can now be easily done via US-Canada-China. Not a bad thing. Canada doesn't have to buy US cars, it can make/buy Chinese instead for domestic use and/or export. Less reliance on US capital for the cost of the infrastructure build out is not a bad thing either; they also can't get the oil they own out ... without the pipe/docks required. Crops/Fishers have a market again, and a way of getting product to market. The US just pays world price less transport cost ... no more forced deep discounting by people struggling to keep their jobs. SD Edited January 16 by SharperDingaan
