backtothebeach Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Wanted to sell 1 Berkshire $470 put for this Friday expiration at $3.60. By mistake sold 10. Just bought them back $2 cheaper... Sometimes you have to get lucky.
Paarslaars Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Joined the AI crowd with a position in MU and some calls in DRAM. Also started a position in Amazon.

I've been following the memory shortage. What gives you confidence it is structural rather than cyclical, and why did you choose MU over other names?
Eldad Posted May 4 Posted May 4 BRK.B No excuse not to drop at least a couple Billion on buybacks this Qtr if it stays around here.

AI is the main driver now, doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon if you see the capex that is being thrown at it. I believe memory, energy and potentially photonics will benefit from this. I chose MU because: I cannot buy the Korean stocks it seems DRAM ETF is ideal but due to a lack op EID, I cannot buy that either in my country. For some reason though, I can buy calls on DRAM MU is one of the cheapest options right now, trading at 6x forward earnings. Must say that forward earnings estimation has gone up a lot last months, we are now entering a phase where execution on this is key.
John Hjorth Posted May 5 Posted May 5 (edited) I finally got my act together and reinvested received dividends at 31st March 2026 from NOVO B.CPH, at DKK 285.00 per share today. Judge's evalution and rating of technical execution and artistic impression is in the sewer. I may try to find comfort and a paficifier in buying a bit more Berskhire Hathaway B later today. - - - o 0 o - - - Edit : Added a few more Berkshire Hathaway B shares at just north of USD 466, today. - - - o 0 o - - - Edit 2 : I also finally got my act together and closed my 'Class B' to 'Class A' share arbitrage on Svenska Handelsbanken AB, by reinvesting received dividends after Swedish withholding dividend tax, received on 31th March 2026, and sales proceeds from the sale of all Class B shares sold 10th April 2026, today giving me a Class A share count total up 83 per cent! - With ten times voting rights per share than the Class B shares formerly held! The 'original' Svenska Handelsbanken Class B shares have been held since July and August 2017. Purely a gamble that this is getting out of control and much of this spending isn't going to prove economic, but we'll see. 2-months may not be enough time for it to come down to earth. This tech market is becoming frothier by the day.
John Hjorth Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Reinvested dividends received on 10th April 2026 from Schouw & Co. into Schouw & Co. [ SCHO.CPH].
Spekulatius Posted May 6 Posted May 6 (edited) Added back a bit AMRZ on that dip the other day. Adds to CPNG and I also bought a little TCEHY(Tencent) today. I was pretty impressed by Tencent latest results and how they think about AI. I am keeping it small because of Chinah risk. Edited May 6 by Spekulatius
nafregnum Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Bought a 2% position in LQDA, and 0.3% more as $55 Jan'27 calls. Increased NTDOY stake to 3%.
