More NVO today, plan to hold this latest batch for 31 days, and sell the higher costs ones to offset realized capital gains.

Bought a few shares of EPD on the dip.

Got a fill on a nanocap that I put in a resting limit order for a couple of weeks ago. I won't mention the name because it's been a few months and I still can't get the position up to $10k.

Sold a couple of long dated puts on NVO.

I've owned 1 share for a couple of years. Steadily improving margins but the market doesn't care.

At $60 billion market cap it seems like the market is being pretty generous, no?  Maybe it was just ahead of itself in 2021

They have a good product starting with HCM and moving into adjacent field like expense management, learning systems. they also have some finance and supply chain software that keep plugging away with but hasn’t quite reached critical massing seems. That said, their SBC is too high for a company their size. I do think it is has become too cheap.

5.6x EV/revenues. The SBC is high, if you take it out, it becomes much cheaper. For comparison the software rollup ROP trades at 8x EV/ revenues with less organic growth even on a per share metric (to compensate for dilution).

No, I am not claiming that WDAY is cheap but yo dot think you need to look at more metrics.

Yes. That's why I still don't own more than one share. I've been looking closer into it recently. Microsoft went sideways for years which is why I sold it at 25 USD about 20 years ago.

ADBE and TEAM are also interesting. As growth slows operating margins will probably increase and SBC decrease.

ADBE has more terminal risk than other SAAS plays. I think WDAY can benefit from AI while ADBE may have to reinvent themselves . FIGMA being valued as if they disrupted ADBE already makes not much sense to me either. I own just a few shares in WDAY but I think it’s getting interesting.

Loading into treasuries.

My boss is bragging to me about his day trading adventures. He says he's "mapped out the next 300 days" and "if I get a 3% return each day, I'll have one million dollars."

Figure the investing gods are sending me as message to be patient and take some risk off the table. 🤣
