Also, this goes ex-dividend in a few more days and I'm reinvesting. We'll see if being greedy when others are fearful pans out. Added more today. Thinking of selling some covered options to help reduce the cost a little further.

It feels like just about almost everything is headed, en route, to hell! -But Berkshire has really started to shine!, - I'm actually a bit up, ~2 per cent, YTD for 2025.

How do you say "Yee Haa" in Danish?
Spekulatius Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 “Project Greenland” and NVO are joined at the hip, since they are both Danish. Soon enough you will hear how NVO rips off Americans followed by tariffs from you know who. This is not investment advice.

Jeff [ @DooDiligence ], The same way as you do! - Isen't bull riding an American thing only? Europeans are whimps and don't do such things, and in Spain they have this primitive veird habit of killing bulls for the fun of paying spectators, perhaps a legacy thing from ancient Rome, with a modification?

Can imagine that this happens, however apparently NVO produces more in US vs. LLY. Not saying that Trump is rational, but on micro level you would expect him to appreciate that.

NVO imports quite a bit in the USA based on the size of their manufacturing sites in the US versus Europe and the revenues they generate respectively. I also don’t think fact will matter all that much if it comes to that point. Edited March 27, 2025 by Spekulatius
DooDiligence Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Added, even more NVO as it went sub $70. I'm just about out of investible cash & thinking about calling it a day. Might just stare at my 6 company portfolio for the next 5 years. I'll likely trim here and there (if I get lucky) and something starts looking toppy, but otherwise I think I'm a hodler. It would help if I could avoid looking at quotes. Might have to go somewhere with limited internet for a bit.
LC Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 @DooDiligence What are those 6 companies if you don't mind sharing? Obviously NVO is one...
John Hjorth Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 I'm going to branch out / split the discussion of Novo Nordisk and tariffs from here to appriate topic in the Investment Ideas forum, from here, and doing it now.
Libs Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 20 BP's into GUSH April 17 calls. 2X oil bull ETF. Gambling that this is meaningful: https://news.sky.com/story/us-appears-to-be-significantly-increasing-its-military-presence-in-the-middle-east-13336089
WFF Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 Going to sound like a broken record, but NVO, sold some NVO 70 puts that expires today, and some MGM in the 30s. Partially funded by tax harvesting of some JOE.
