If someone had standing orders placed for limits of say $250 would those have filled? How quickly was it caught? And IF they were filled would they then be retracted? I think this obviously would be corrected.

I remember when I was younger someone at the bank (teller?) made a deposit mistake of something like $500 into my account (that was a lot for me at 16) and I thought it was great...but it was caught obviously by the end of the day or the next and they pulled the money back out. Who knew all those years playing Monopoly, there actually never is a "bank error in your favor" !

The trades that were obviously erroneous should be busted. I do wonder about the trades that were within the realm of fair value. Will this guy get bailed out? 648k is just 3% off a reasonable fair value, but that's still 17k instant loss because of entering a market order for 1 share. There were prints up to 742k.

Lots of things on sale in the past couple of days.  Even though I have enough I couldn't resist a little OXY under $60 and CPNG.

Slowly building my small positions in TNP, TAYD and KRKNF on the dips.

NBLY.TO and a bit of PLC.TO

PLC.TO announced being taken private at a 62% premium

I bought some RCM last week, interesting special situation.

RTO and XPEL in the last several weeks as well.

I don't see a post for it.  Maybe you start one?

Its a pretty simple thesis. Its a mediocre version of Rollins. Great business thats got a lot of room to improve operationally. Thinks its bound to either get it together or likely gets bought, probably by Rollins.

I don't really like any of their brands but Brown and Forman.

Wow. BF is getting cheap. Last time I took a look was in March. Well run company that always has sold at a premium.

2% fcf yield for a business that grows at 7-8% in the long run and has problems atm. still not really cheap.

True - not cheap. I guess cheaper than it has been since 2015-16 of a FCF basis. I was looking at the current PE of around 20 where it usually trades in the mid 30s.

Yeah seems pretty cheap versus self. I had to swallow hard and pay up a bit.  Not down to GFC levels or anything but just going to try and tickle in here since Mr. market seems to think Ozempic is making it a zero.

DEO has compressed to a 14 multiple but can they grow at all?

I'm sure they can find some smaller brands and overpay to get a little topline.  hah

Has paying every movie star 500M for their rum or tequila brand stopped yet?
