Spekulatius Posted Monday at 09:04 PM Posted Monday at 09:04 PM I think European stocks will outperform US stocks this year. The Euro will outperform the USD. Reason: too cheap, chance of political change is not priced in.

Euro may still be expensive given the EU economy. https://longforecast.com/euro-to-dollar-eur-usd-forecast-2017-2018-2019-2020 The inflation rate in Europe is lower again than in the USD. Purchase power matters. If you ever go to Europe , you will notice how inexpensive it is. Same for Japan.

Apparently, it's been extremely dark times for the US economy over the last 4 years...you sure you want it? Things have been about as bad as humanly possible in the U.S...people getting stabbed, shot, raped, murdered...almost like Haiti or the Congo! Censorship has been rampant, weaponization of the justice department, every child I know has been given testosterone blockers, dogs falling in love with cats, the Rock hating on Vin Diesel, hell opening up in the Pacific Palisades swallowing up all of the gay, God-hating powerbrokers of Hollywood...it's been just awful! You can't even get a decent donut anymore or french fries cooked in beef tallow! Cheers!

Gregmal Posted Tuesday at 02:39 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:39 AM Has anyone wondered what the impact would be if Europe and Canada diverted all the funds allocated to these dumb ass climate and diversity programs and instead put them to work in useful ways? Folks complain about Trump targeting these countries, but the truth is that everyone, including the US, have seemingly been resting on their laurels for the better part of the last decade. If everyone simply gets back to basics and stops the virtue signaling I can’t help but think this would be incredibly positive for productivity.

Just a joke Sweet...nothing to do with you and more about how politicians of all stripes and color suck! I'm not sure how any of them wake up each morning and then spew the crap that they do...Dems and Republicans, Liberals and Conservatives! Almost all are liars, cheats, scoundrels and hypocrites. Power corrupts absolutely! Soon Oprah will be giving away pardons...you get a pardon, you get a pardon, you get a pardon! Cheers!

Blake Hampton Posted Tuesday at 04:39 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:39 AM I spent a while writing out a long post on the now deleted forum that I was really quite proud of. When I went to post it, a message awaiting me said that the forum was now gone, just as well as my post. This is my punishment for bringing up politics. Anyways, the post was supposed to be a reply to @Gregmal concerning the Fed. Sorry Greg but here's a shorter version: - J. Powell is a hero and I don't think any of this is his fault - Long-term financing markets are screwed up - Our presidents and congressmen are behaving like morons, especially concerning economics Good night everyone.

whiskybravo Posted Tuesday at 09:23 AM Posted Tuesday at 09:23 AM Prot.ol announced positive gross written premium growth for 2004, particularly Q4.(up 30%, with 82% of the growth in the UK). They just entered France January 1st and are seeing strong demand there.

[I own it.] Your post above belongs there, not here.

Paarslaars Posted yesterday at 07:54 AM Posted yesterday at 07:54 AM Yeah I would move to the U.S. but your healthcare system would bankrupt me.

It's amazing that these leaders claim to be "fighting for Democracy" against Free Speech and people like Trump who were ... democratically elected. These leaders should not be trusted. Davos crowd is a cabal that works to subvert true democracy.
Dinar Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago 30 minutes ago, Dalal.Holdings said: OK...and where exactly does this address the claim that the healthcare system "will bankrupt me" ? For most normal people, spending $80K per annum on health insurance that doesn't cover anything is a route to bankruptcy.
Paarslaars Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) On top of that, I have a daughter with a rare genetic condition who is hospitalized often. She requires a series of medications and tons of check-ups as well as physiotherapy etc... Not that I have put in the work to actually look into moving to the US but considering typical doctor and hospital visits, the deductibles and non-covered items would certainly be a heavy cost on top of the health insurance costs. Here in Europe my net cost for all of this is essentially zero. I'm not the biggest fan of Europe and definitely not the current policies... but considering my personal situation I do believe I'm better off here for now. But who knows, 10 years of compounding later this might all change. Edited 19 hours ago by Paarslaars

My employer pays the remaining $8-9k. It is a high deductible plan with a $7k deductible. I'm 35 and haven't spent $7k on total medical expenses over the last 14 years combined. And yet somehow it costs $8-9k/yr to insure me even after I've agreed to cover the first $7k. The US medical system is f*cking bogus...
