Yup. But this is what 95% of cobf has become the past couple months. Absolutely worthless, emotional raging and whining mixed with derangement inspired doom and gloom. Ugh…..

Sorry but i cant take you serious. You are the only one whining every other thread page of "how terrible the board has become" which i really can not say. This thread alone has a ton of value in it and if you cant see it its your fault. Why are you coming back time and time again, whining about deteriorating quality instead of providing quality yourself? If there is no value here why are you wasting your time frankly?

Ever run a business, Luke?

Held an elected leadership role?

Negotiated for anything of value?

You must at least be in management, surely?

What does this have to do with anything i have said. Its a non reply trying to insult me?

Ironically you have the most posts on this topic, 105 actually. Most of it is whining how stupid everyone is discussing these tariffs or how stupid the responses are haha.

Only someone without leadership experience could question why it's a prerequisite to judging leadership.

It's a target-rich environment.

That clarifies a lot, thank you for your thoughtful insights.

I could have bet on you coming onto this thread saying this actually 🙂 Just waiting for @cubsfan to join in again.

I respectfully have to disagree….1) I respect all opinions on this board even yours G’s and Cubsfan as well as many others…2) a lot of what’s been posted since the election is opinion and , to paraphrase Howard Marks, we don’t know what is going to happen. 3) reading the various opinions has helped me navigate the current investing environment… I am essentially flat for the year with 40% cash.. I could be very wrong but I am confident.

Hopefully all will continue to post their opinions with respect ..

To paraphrase the Macy’s expert.. Cheers

I have replied i cant take you serious on this reply: "Absolutely worthless, emotional raging and whining mixed with derangement inspired doom and gloom".

I appreciate the discussion culture on this board but i have put energy and effort into my posts for @Gregmal to come to his PC to write my reply was absolutely worthless, emotional raging and whining mixed with derangement inspired doom and gloom. I appreciate the reply but frankly thats quite insulting and i dont think worth my effort. I guess those kind of replies are what makes a quality poster, thank you @Gregmal, everyones forum darling and high quality poster.

Javier Blas … commodities reporter from Bloomberg… Sounds like the rare earth metal ban is a big nothing burger… Kinda like all that critical/ rare metals stuff from Ukraine and Greenland that he’s talked about

There are different opinions on this topic...I don't know where is the truth...

example: U.S. is unable to replace rare earths supply from China, warns CSIS

And i myself have said pages ago that i appreciate the discussion because it was diverse and intellectually stimulating. Not "Absolutely worthless, emotional raging and whining mixed with derangement inspired doom and gloom" but i guess everyone has their own style on this board.

I mean there’s an amusement value in it for sure. But after a while it’s like OK, we get it, you think the world is forever changed. You hate Trump. Are world class military strategists; oh also mind readers. Everything is doomed, but China…except what’s the point there? Especially when it’s so easy to buy the tops and get shaken out at the bottom…

LOL

That's exactly what it was:

Trump should be some sort of philosopher with deep knowledge of philosophy, politics, economics, psychology etc and have shown over his biography that he is a reliant, diligent and hard working citizen that can bring his country and humanity forward.

"Should" is childish.

If you disagree that our leaders should be more than they are currently, we have to disagree to disagree. I don't think my comment was absolutely worthless and deranged emotional whining, but frankly I will withdraw from the discussion if you think thats the case. Makes no sense for me to discuss anything with those type of responses. Cheers guys and all the best! Hope you will provide more value than my deranged posts.

G… for mortal investors like me; I just think that whether you like or dislike Trump is immaterial… There seems to be

change in the air and caution is warranted…. It is interesting to follow both the doomers with their fearless rebranding leadership of AOC Sanders and Newsom.🤮and theMAGAs 🤮…. What ever happened to good old moderate/ moderate conservative corrupt politicians? Haha

Their houses are being burnt down because the crybaby mentality has provoked the crazies to be violent. Derangement syndrome spreads and evolves

There are a few out there; while politicians; seem to keep their nose to the grind so to speak… and it’s funny that dems like Newsom and Belshear are starting their own podcasts

Probably the same thing that happened to reasonable democrats....the pendulum swings....Reasonable politicians will make their way back into politics when the opposing side takes the high road and extends an olive branch. Until then, long live polarizing politicians.

It doesen't really matter, does it? It's criminalized, and should be handled accordingly. Criminal bullies and thugs are about everywhere.
