There have been 3 attempts on Trump so far and I doubt this affects the ratings much as the novelty of those things wears off. The security parameter setup seems a bit weak. What hotel was this - Hotel Continental?

I would definitely agree that education in America is awful. There are some bright spots but it's nothing like the 70's. It is not at all a money issue, as the teacher's union only cares about themselves and not the children. It's awful. The US will save huge amounts of money when we exit the UN and NATO - and finish off Iran!
