Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 17 hours ago, cubsfan said: What you are missing is rather simple: the man had a gun and he resisted Law Enforcement's efforts to surrender. He was a danger to officers and got himself shot by fighting with law enforcement. Really simple stuff. If you would rather believe @Castanza and his magic tricks - no problem. He actually had no opportunity to surrender...as soon as they got him to the ground, his shirt rose up and the gun/holster became apparent. One ICE officer grabbed the gun and yelled "gun!". Two officers then stepped back and started shooting. That was it! He was dead after that. 11 shots all hitting him. Cheers!
Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 14 hours ago, cubsfan said: You really have to LOVE Libtard logic: 1 Unarmed Trump support shot dead by Pelosi's Capitol Police. She was not a threat crawling through a window. BUT she was trespassing. Libtard Logic: No problem, she deserved it, Cop did his job. Shoot her dead, she's a Trump supporter! 2 Armed ICE protestor refuses to comply to Law Enforcement and resists. Danger to everyone. Shot dead. Libtard Logic: My hair is on fire! Oh the outrage! Don't be so transparent @dwy000 Again, this the retarded logic you are using. One protestor illegally broke into the Capitol building and with a mob were trying to break into the chamber where politicians were at risk...including the Vice-President of the United States and the Speaker of the House. The other was a protestor...not trespassing...not threatening...assisting a woman on the ground. If you can't see the difference, then I'm not sure Trump can either! Cheers!
Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 13 hours ago, Spekulatius said: Just think about this. A citizen got killed (some would claim murdered) and Stephen Miller called him an assassin. Right out of Orwells 1984 playbook: i guess one can add the phrase: Victims are terrorists and assassins. Stephen Miller would have turned his own family in to the Gestapo...I wouldn't worry about people like him. Karma has a way of taking care of it! Cheers!
Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 12 hours ago, Castanza said: In fairness anyone defending the ICU nurse (as I am) should also defend Rittenhouse. Different firearm, maturity levels and legality to a degree (firearm crossed state lines). But the intention was not much different “protection” but the attackers were different (armed citizen thug vs armed thug agent). @cubsfan Babbitt was climbing through a window into a place where members of Congress were being held. Nowhere else to retreat to. It was truly and idiotic move by her and her group and the cop acted accordingly. I think most Jan 6 protesters were there for a rally. But there was undoubtedly a large group there looking for trouble and pushing boundaries. Are you incapable of looking at the situation without bias? Lawful is lawful and unlawful is unlawful. Lots of selective people on here…. You are correct for the most part...except the ICU nurse did not expose or draw his weapon. It was also registered and legally owned. While Rittenhouse was allowed to defend himself, he shot one of his attackers who was disarmed and on the ground...he used unreasonable force in that case...his gun was also not registered to him. Cheers!

Probably gonna get those guys jail time and cost taxpayers a bunch of millions Hahahaha! Greg! You are so damn smart and logical...you know that they won't serve a day in jail. In fact, the President will probably pardon them if it ever goes to prosecution. Cheers!
Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 11 hours ago, cubsfan said: Of course you're ok with it! Shoot all the unarmed Trump protestors - they deserve it! NO excessive force applies to the shooting of a defenseless protestors if they support Trump. I just love liberal logic! You're right up there with @cwericb Cubs, maybe you need to take Trump's cognitive test! You can tell the difference between the Capitol and other buildings/spaces, right? Cheers!
Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 10 hours ago, cubsfan said: Yes - that is EXACTLY what Joe Biden did. Pardon all the law breakers including every member of his family. That is how fascism works. Plenty of people criticized that...including myself! So maybe you should be a bit intellectually honest as well, and criticize when you know someone clearly did something wrong, instead of trying any way you can to defend it! I put Hunter Biden and his pardon in the same shit category as Trump and his pardons of the rioters! Why don't you give it a try! Cheers!
Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 9 hours ago, cubsfan said: Silly boy - Alex Pretti was actively interfering with Law Enforcement and refused to comply - preferring to resist their commands. Oh, and did I mentioned he was armed and dangerous?? Minor detail @Luke - perfect setup to get yourself shot dead - unlike the fantasy world you live in. Cubs...he wasn't interfering with ICE. He was picking a woman off the ground who had been thrown down. Cheers!
Parsad Posted January 26 Posted January 26 8 hours ago, cubsfan said: Simple rules: - Don't go to a "peaceful protest" heavily armed - Don't interfere with Law enforcement - If you are stupid enough to do the above- then DO NOT resist law enforcement commands to cease and desist. Otherwise, you may get yourself/others killed. Now he's heavily armed?! Like Kyle Rittenhouse? The handgun was holstered...he was picking a woman off the ground...how was he resisting with seven guys on him...two stepped back and started shooting when they heard the word "gun!" Even though the gun was already removed from his holster before they started shooting. Disarmed...not resisting...shot 11 times! Cheers!

Cheers! A rifle has different requirements than a handgun. It does not need to be concealed and you do not need a permit. His violation which was thrown out was he borrowed it as an underage person. Use of deadly force is determined in the courts and importantly without hindsight analysis. Regardless, the Prosecutor was almost thrown out for Constitutional violations with questioning and the jury found him not guilty of all charges. But Rittenhouse was still and idiot for what he did. Im not sure you read my other posts regarding the ICU nurse but I’m in full agreement that he was wrongfully murdered by ICE and that he did not break any laws.
Dalal.Holdings Posted January 26 Posted January 26 https://www.wsj.com/opinion/time-for-ice-to-pause-in-minneapolis-e9ecf097?st=gh96Kx&reflink=article_copyURL_share Quote Mr. Miller’s mass deportation methods are turning immigration, an issue Mr. Trump owned in 2024, into a political liability for Republicans in 2026. Americans don’t want law enforcement shooting people in the street or arresting five-year-old boys. The President who said you have to have a heart in enforcement ought to show some. Dude turned a political asset (immigration and fraud in Minnesota) into a political liability by letting hardliners like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem run the show. All just to “own the libs”. Brilliant 4-D chess here. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Just incredible to see. Meanwhile, no one is talking about the fraud in MN anymore. Congrats Trump, you handed Tim Walz a big win.

flesh Posted January 26 Posted January 26 What's the cause of death for Alex Pretti? By weighting in %'s 1. Allowing unmitigated illegal immigration, including thousands(ten's?, 100's? of criminals) 2. Massive media push to protest repeated daily for month's? 3. Left wing media rarely if ever saying how and what the proper forms of safe protest are and often pushing for more aggressive forms of protest/using hyperbole? 4. Improperly trained/radicalized ice agents? 5. Trump/ice leaders poor leadership leading to more aggressive Ice behavior? 6. Trump not calling off ICE altogether and ending the program? 7. Left wing politicians in left wing states not cooperating with ICE and often actively opposing them in various ways? Counterfactual, how many ICE deaths per arrest in cooperating states. 8. Collateral damage, some people die when law enforcement of any kind do their job. It's a numbers game. Namely, if you have 100k arrests x people will die by cops/ICE
