Ferrari Spin and then i was selling after a time the ferrari stake for big gains also FCA and after a time bought exor. To wide discount. but the last month i had a bad feeling and getting confirmed that right now the thesis is broken. Ferrari is in front of a transformation and they are ruining the brand, stellantis still is shit, cnh also, and the discount widens or stay the same. so the thesis is broken, i made in the past a lot of money to be contrarian to the market but right now the thesis is broken. It is the small things that also happen, like the juventus black hole. If you are really interested in achieving the best outcome, start with everything. and juventus is a black hole, but they are to heavy exposed with emotion to this football club. nothing more, the thesis is broken. elkann is in deep trouble with ferrari. This has nothing to do with Enzo Ferrari. I know that they will be People who defend it until the end. be honest to yourself, it is only confirmation bias for a awesome investment (it is not)

thowed Posted May 27 Posted May 27 I never felt Elkann really proved his talent - the one big thing he did was get Marchionne, but actions since then have suggested to me that was luck rather than skill. But he's got a lot of people who think he's the bee's knees.

I went in way to early and also got out a little early but it’s beats being a bagholder. Better lucky than smart. $ZS forecast was pretty lousy- a slowdown in growth from the mid twenties tonight mid teens next year and not a lot color why (other than apparently crucial salespeople leaving). This has been a very reliable grower in the past. I might get back in if it hits ~$115 again. Edited May 28 by Spekulatius
MxMI17 Posted May 30 Posted May 30 (edited) Sold all my AMAT - it has run nicely and the whole market feels a bit too euforic for my taste. Not bad to have some more dry powder for the upcoming months. Edited May 30 by MxMI17

Paarslaars Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Thanks, still relatively cheap to be honest if forward earnings are correct but I just have to imagine after memory prices tripling in a year that a lot of effort will also be put in minimizing memory use.

Paarslaars Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Haha yeah maybe I should stick to that and become a trader, most of my long term investments (Nintendo, BTC/Metaplanet, FFH) have done horrible the past 6-12 months. My short term 'AI value chain basket' are all up 30-130% sinds I bought them the past 1-2 months.
Cod Liver Oil Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago @Paarslaars Sometimes the more instinctive analysis on short term stuff is better than the grinding granular hyper rational analysis we do when we make large commitments.
