I just wanna know who in hell is responsible for Donnie John's face coloring as his oval office condemnation calling Powell low IQ and stupid was quite the brown-out!   Beyond the shoulder pads etc they are doing the Biden cover-up given the massive make-over of this fossil's age.

No matter how impressive the American sting operation against Iranian nuclear facilities may appear from Hegseths and Caines elaborations, no tangible proof of resulting outcome was delivered under that meeting with the press.

 

What is important to have in mind, is that this is what could be done from and via the air, without the use of American troops on Iranian soil. If USA eventually coulden't do it, nobody could, because no other country has the means to carry out such a thing.

 

So all good, that it is now tried by USA. As I've posted before, the whole of Europe also can't live with a rogue state like Iran having nuclear weapons.

Knowing there most times are some kind of 'catch' to get to understand Charlies [ @dealrakers] posts here on CofB&F - and the rash they contain, I, as a Dane, meticulously looked up the meaning of 'brown-out' - aannd got it! - lol! .

Thanks John - Trump supporters have a tolerance for his BS’ing passing it off as some kind of acceptable personality quirk…fine no problem from me…..when it concerns crowds sizes and trivial things. Saturday night confirms my central thesis of the Trump presidency (which has proved to be immensely profitable for me this year)  - he remains fundamentally the guy who spent many hours of his formative years more concerned about creating the public impression of being a billionaire versus the hard & difficult work of becoming a billionaire….as this pertains to policy (liberation, Iran on down)….one should assume, always, that Trump is more concerned with giving the impression of changing things versus the hard work of fundamentally changing things. This heuristic works best the more complex the issue at hand (Trade, Gov spending, Deficit, foreign affairs etc). 
 

He believes his propaganda skills are limitless (why wouldn’t he they got him to White House!) the reality is his execution skills or one should say his stomach & skill for executing difficult complex tasks is not there.

 

Put more succinctly he’s a President more interested in giving people the IMPRESSION America is being made great again versus doing the hard work of actually MAKING America great again. That is the Achilles heel and crux of this President. Trade accordingly.

People are unfortunately struggling with the fact that inflation has stayed flat or even come down, and the S&P is up 5% so far for the year. The economy was supposed to have dived into a tailspin by now but so far things are progressing as normal. It's easier to come up with a new acronym TACO etc to explain this than it is to adjust their deeply held beliefs. Maybe after a couple more years of solid returns they will finally come around but by that point they will have missed a lot of the growth. I don't think anybody should make any investment decisions based on who the president is.

Indeed.  For most individuals (particularly in the US) politics is entirely irrelevant.  The fear mongering here and elsewhere is laughable and sad at the same time.  One thing is for certain:  If you base your investments on your personal political persuasions, you will be far worse off than if you had simply invested in a vacuum.

Cubs, I feel like you and I are watching a different movie than some others.  Can't remember any time in recent memory that I've been more proud to be an American.  Nothing against the rest of the World but I can't help but wonder what it would take for anyone else to actually take a stand for humanity and hope like hell we never need to find out.

To top off an amazing week for Trump, today the Supreme Court bitch slaps the left's abusing nationwide injunctions by "judge shopping".  Not gonna work anymore.  This ruling will save the judicial system and clear the way for much of the Trump agenda.  Huge ruling.

I haven’t had a chance to read the decision yet, but it seems like if a nationwide injunction won’t pass muster in a case trying to revoke birthright citizenship, when would one?

SC basically said that Federal and State judges cannot invoke nationwide injunctions...on any matter. 

 

So I could understand that for State judges...but Federal judges are handpicked by the President.  They rule on Federal matters.  This would mean that only the Supreme Court can invoke nationwide injunctions?!
