Wonder what drama he's dreaming up for the world next?

Israel has already labeled turkey as the next Iran - here we go again!

So did Trump just unfreeze $20bn for Iran to get the exact same deal that Obama got for $2bn?  And we spent about $50bn to get there?   So much winning.

Iran was initially giving up its enriched uranium for FREE prior to the war if they didn’t get attacked.

As @cubsfan would say, it’s the art of the deal 😉

You are the worst kind of antisemite.  Most readily admit their hatred and are proud of it.  You hide behind circuitous arguments, all while supporting a terrorist, hateful regime.  You're not fooling anyone.

I guess by your logic all the Iranian Jews are antisemite terrorists supporting a hateful regime? They were also mourning the death of Ayatollah Khamenei on the 40th day of his passing together with the Muslims. - god bless their souls.  @73 Reds @Marco Van Basten  @Parsad @John Hjorth

Strait of Iran has such a lovely ring to it. They are going to get significantly stronger post war - love it!

I thought it was the straight of Vermouth and it wasn’t even Hegseth saying it. “Straight of Vermouth” sounds like drink I might try.

Agreed but how do you short them? About the best  you can do is ignore them.

Dems can't ever accept that Trump is just a life long grifter from THEIR SIDE OF THE AISLE. They want to label him with one of the groups "on the right" they already hate. They're like used car salesmen trying to offload the lemon. End of the day Trump is for Trump and will say, and do just about anything that he feels is an advantage to him. They also want to blame the election on MAGA even though it only makes up like 30% of the voter base for Trump....fact is the political field in the US has been a shit show for over a decade now and people just want someone to blame. Go back an look at Kamala's platform....Makes a whole lot of sense to run on higher taxes, land right for for poor and indigenous people, and LGBTQ bathrooms while bringing ZERO productive policies to the table that would resonate to the average voter. All while inflation was on everyone's mind lmao .....Her and Trump were slightly different on Ukraine and had similar platforms on Israel. Dems out here wondering why Trump (a prof grifter) was able to sway a bunch of swing votes...If you want to understand election outcomes you need to ignore the educated pin heads and look at what the average person is saying.

Hind sight is 20/20 and some claim they "predicted this" yet very few people who voted for Trump support half the shit that has gone down since the election....

A lesson for America to field better candidates....Or we can just keep electing criminals, grifters, whores, and vegetables

Agreed. Dems agenda does not resonate with their core voter and is completely  different for what they stood for 20 or 30 years ago. Yes core “to be there for the average worker/ citizen” has been replaced with a bunch of pet projects and catering to special interest groups. There is nothing wrong with being inclusive but you can’t forget the core voters for that.

The hack job they did on Bernie Sanders was the writing on the wall for the Dems.

Very true, love his policy or not, he's one of the more genuine politicians we have had.

Metaphorically…

Easiest thing to do is just wager on what they are saying not happening.

Sanjeev, think about how you would feel if someone came on your site  and openly supported terrorists sitting offshore and attacking British Columbia, raping and killing its citizens and screaming "Death to British Columbia".

Half you guys already did that earlier when Trump was threatening Greenland and Canada.  I just argued with you all on here like anything else.

Yeah, you keep saying this but they weren't.  They denied IAEA inspectors access.  They had no interest in giving up the enriched uranium.  It's fact and documented!

I'm surrounded by fools!  One guy keeps saying the current Iranian regime is as innocent as a newborn baby, and another is constantly screaming that a poster on here is Hitler incarnate!

I feel like this guy:

Superbad - Fuck my life on Make a GIF

If you think I am a liar, that’s fine and I accept it.  How about the actual foreign affairs minister who was the mediator from Oman who confirmed exactly what I said. He came out on Friday right before the war and confirmed.

US / Iran nuclear deal - “Peace deal is within our reach”

Would you please listen? As I said, they fully agreed to give up all enriched uranium. (However, those seeks an illegal Jewish state blew it up.)

lol, @73 Reds as a person who seeks an illegal state, they are never challenged and when that happens they scream antisemitism, make genocidal threats, attack your character etc and then act like a victim - you can’t have a rational conversation. (I try to keep my post factual)

It's weird and striking , how these two events are nothing burgers for the Trump supporters here on CofB&F, while not for Canadian and European CofB&F members.

It's about pragmatism versus  bed rock principles, NATO basic principles and international law, about which Trump supporters - simply put - don't give a f**k.

That was after they had denied IAEA inspectors access.  Why?  That was part of the original agreement.  Inspections whenever they are requested.

Yup!  NATO's principles are "cowardly moochers who don't get anything done!"  U.S. principles are "we don't need you, we'll do what we want and finish the job!"  Cheers!

Lets think rationally. Let’s pretend you and I are in Iranian government and we just were just under attack. Why the fuck would we trust anyone in our country?

“Good behavior by each party begets good behavior in return.” - Warren Buffett

After the June 2025 Israeli/U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, Iran suspended cooperation with the IAEA in July 2025 and largely stopped allowing inspectors — especially at bombed facilities.
Main reasons cited by Iran:
•  Intelligence fears: They accuse the IAEA of leaking site details and data to the U.S. and Israel, which helped enable the precise strikes.
•  Perceived bias: The IAEA’s critical reports and resolutions just before the attacks gave “political cover” to the strikes and failed to condemn them.

That's baloney...same conspiracy crap that the MAGA nutjobs keep throwing out.  Iran chose not to let IAEA inspectors in.  They were very clear about that in their report.  That a number of requests were denied.

After everything that the regime did, THEY have to earn trust...and they turned away the required inspections.  If you are a dangerous offender, you cannot violate your parole requirements.  Otherwise you go back into the penalty box.  That's what happened to Iran.  Cheers!

I never made  the “Death to Israel” comment.

I criticize Israeli government policies, not the existence of Israel. This falls under the IHRA’s clear statement that criticism of Israel similar to any other country is not antisemitic.

If you have evidence I said otherwise, post the quote.

I’ve also seen you make statements about Palestinians and Arabs that I view as genocidal in tone — which says more about your consistency in applying standards than anything else

You've done ore than that. Just 3 days ago, you posted a fake badge aimed Jews, pushing the conspiracy theory that Jews want a "Greater Israel." That badge was clearly meant to stoke hatred, and it's not hard to see how someone in the ME could read it a sa a call to violence against Jews.

You still haven't disproven my point or admitted your sources are shaky. So go ahead and ask your favorite AI weather that fits the IHRA definition.

And this isn't a one-off. Time and again, you've posted false information with the same anti-Israel spin and the same wild leaps. It's fine to be anti-Israel - just say it. It's even fine to be anti-Jews. Just own it and don't try to fool a bunch of intelligent people with injection of "nuances." And don't dress it up as something else when the argument keeps collapsing under its own weight.

Nah, and if you recall, I didn't/don't support any form of "takeover" of Greenland or Canada, though you guys really should try a little harder to recognize when Trump is speaking tongue in cheek just trying to get a rise out of you, particularly when it comes to Canada.  You didn't answer the question, which is an answer in and of itself.

Strait of Trump/Iran open eternally according to Trump for about 17 hours or so, after which Iran closes it again! lol!😛😋

We be managed by Trump's political travel as is always...that is while we heavily debate what's in the best interest of the US of course.  Iran will agree to anything knowing Trump comes home a decorated hero, then of course they go right back to the same decades long endeavors.  No regime change no nuthins, just Trumpery survival for another day w/o Epstein memories.  Meanwhile we are doing the deep dive into the Old Testament apparently, maybe with a touch of the fam sells of drones to the taxpayer debt pile.

Ain't a Republican alive looking past there political lifespan either as to what's good for the US or how much they can milk the good ole "hardworking white man" for.  Ain't it sumthin'?   Bill Graham hired thousands to respond in the stadium in the appropriate manner and now we have Franklin telling us that Trump is actually Jesus and God all put into one!
