Kinda interesting to hear there is no inflation.

Obviously Don doesn't buy gas or groceries.

We will see how that inflation thingey works out over the coming months.

At least a few weeks ago he learned of "a new word - groceries" *

*Trump explains what groceries are UAE president: : "Groceries. Very simple word, groceries. Like almost, you know, who uses the word. I started using the word. The groceries. When you buy apples, when you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double and triple the price over a short period of time."

He's hilarious!

The key with Trump is to ignore the narrative. Everyone gets the narrative wrong because there’s so much noise and deliberate misdirection. Because Trump is shysty and a lot of folks/media have TDS.

Whats important? What’s he doing? And why is he saying what he’s saying. That’s all one needs to pay attention to. Those folks that are hung up on rhetoric like “he said 4 weeks and it’s been 34 days” will just never get it. He’s been feeling out the market, feeling out Iran, feeling out the Fed, feeling out the media, this was bothersomely orchestrated.

Prediction, he’ll escalate and then bounce in a couple weeks, leaving everyone who needs that oil to figure it out. Giving himself just enough time to rack up some wins in time for midterms. I don’t think it’ll be enough, but it’s par for the course for how he operates.

Sounds bout correct to me.

No media is going to attempt selling ads without Trump being the dominant draw in the news hole.  We have years of it, his remaining life, to go.  Getting riled up today is as logical as getting riled up tomorrow, Trump will take you where he wants to the degree he wants and when he wants.

I’m just here to make money off it. It’s like having a body of water that’s crystal clear; and then someone drops in a substance that to some is heavily confusing and distorts the clarity. To others, the water is still clear.

Well done. The past month’s volatility has been a traders dream.

Have to think that the SOH remains closed for the next 3-4 weeks; ongoing strikes and toll arrangements will take some time to implement.

VZ heavy is also not going to be flowing for some time yet. Great for Canada 😁

Did you just listen to that absolute mess of a speech from your commander in chief? 😂. - I would be embarrassed if that was the head of my country.

Yup, it was a mess of a speech, but he's now forcing those that need the oil to clean up the mess...and probably relatively quickly.

They will pave (literally) the way, but Europe, Asia and our Middle Eastern friends, you bring out the vacuum and wallet if you don't want to walk to empty grocery stores tomorrow.  If the Strait is closed and the U.S. doesn't allow Iran to sell oil, well Iran's economy is up shit's creek too!  Empty grocery stores, shortages, restlessness by citizens against the regime...U.S. will just wait it out.

Cheers!

Here's the translation for you:

We're leaving Iran, but we're not leaving Iran,

we will come back anytime we like.

I love it!

Yeah, that's not what he's saying.  He's saying we did the tear down, you foot and do the rebuild.  And if you don't want to do the rebuild, well that's no skin off my nose!

About right for Trump...he just wanted the buffet, and doesn't care who washes the dishes, as long as it isn't him!  Cheers!

100%!  He gets IT done, but leaves a mess...that's what Melania says too!  🤣  Cheers!

This is the whole thing. Trump is sinisterly smart and conniving. Elite level salesman and extremely good feeling out the pulse of the consensus and manipulating everything and everyone else to his advantage. The biggest fools and reason we are here is all these “Trump so stupid” assholes lol. Tonight was just so obvious, but the imbeciles en masse rested upon the stupid media made “Trump TACO” narrative.

Don’t forget, Iran has one more card to play for final checkmate - which I do not think they even need to play! Will they ask their Houthi brothers to shut the Bab-al Mandeb?  🙂

Well, Punxsutawney Trump came out of his hole and said 2-3 more weeks of winter!  We'll get some more opportunity here for a while.  Cheers!

You missed the most important part.

He will strike them anytime they get out of line because he can. He's leaving, but got subs, allies, and B-52's that can pay them a visit anytime.

But in the next couple of weeks - absent an agreement - the real hit is coming.

Oh well, the regime has that death wish thing.

Yeah, Trump will relentlessly just bomb the hell out of all of them with B2 Bombers.  He doesn't care...because it will prolong the agony more for everyone else.  Pain thresholds are low for most governments...he's going to force others to fix the mess.

Everything he's done so far is to put the U.S. in the drivers seat...tariffs, tie up or take out Russia/North Korea/China/Venezuela/Cuba/Iran/Pakistan...no one is coming to help Iran, except Houthi and the Blowfish!

He has oil from Venezuela, oil/LNG coming from Canada, securing mineral rights, food security from North & South America, Cuba is now just a resort to be built and no Communist threat (if it really ever was one), new deals (apparently somehow $18T, but I would imagine it's not even a quarter of that...but still), secured borders, forced governments to spend more on their own military, security, NATO, etc.  Fucker has had like heads come up 50 times in a row now!  And he's got a double-headed quarter!

Now he's going to get the rest of the world to pick up the tab on Iran...and you think the Houthis are like the Viet Cong and going to prolong this battle?  Geez!

Cheers!

That's true, but I don't think he wants to do that, otherwise he's doing it himself again.  Like I said earlier, he'll bulldoze the site for everyone, but they have to foot the bill and rebuild.  When he's done in 2-3 weeks, he's not coming back, but everyone else better make sure things are built properly...not like the East Wing Ballroom!   🤣  Cheers!

Yup. SOH closure is causing fertilizer and oil to be in short supply and getting  more expensive daily. Great for Canada – you know - that Canada - the Canada that the US doesn’t need anything from?

Just to put things in perspective...

What was that Trump said about US having so much oil?

“The United States imports approximately 4 million to 4.4 million barrels of crude oil per day from Canada, making it the largest source of U.S. petroleum imports. Canadian imports account for roughly 60% of all U.S. crude oil imports, representing a significant portion of the total oil used by American refineries.

Oh, yeah, then there is Fertilizer –  no fertilizer, no crops.

Canada is the largest supplier of fertilizer to the United States, providing roughly 80% of U.S. potash imports and over $4.5 billion in total fertilizer products in 2023. The U.S. relies heavily on Canada for agricultural nutrients, particularly potash (up to 90% import reliance) and nitrogen products.

Prices for both are going through the roof, so it is hard not to hope the SOH stay closed for a while. And it is planting time in the US.

The biggest downside, and contrary to what Trump said about about zero inflation, the price of gas and food for all of us is going to get more expensive.

What?  Sinisterly smart?  That has to be the funniest description I've heard.

There is no plan. There never was a plan.  Nothing he does is ever planned.  He lurches around like a drunk spilling their drink all over everyone and somehow it gets spun as genius.  Thats the only smart part of his shtick - spinning a complete mess as the plan all along.

Not a single goal of this Iran war -.including the ones that the Stae Department listed just a day ago - have been achieved and yet he's got you guys explaining g what a genius he's been all along.

The good thing is little brother is pissed off enough now to worry about little brother first...been a long time!  Open your wallet U.S., we'll sell to you and let's sign a new free trade agreement with teeth!

He's sinisterly street smart...not intelligent.  For someone who went to Wharton, he must have gotten in on a DEI application suffering from bone spurs.

And if he is just a drunk spilling his drink, he's probably one of the luckiest drunks in history!  To keep discounting him has been everyone's folly...especially the Democrats!

This is like 150 years ago...when politics ran through Tammany Hall and leaders were these boorish, loud, assholes who used fear tactics around immigrants to get votes and were corrupt politicians.  They would do whatever it would take!

Trump is a throwback to those assholes.

No one asked what you think. You must raise your hand in order to be called on. Kids table rules.

Only reason your forecasts weren’t foolishly wrong like they normally are is because you kept quiet lol.

No, Greg is not anywhere near Cubs-ville.  He's a pragmatist...whatever makes money and buys him more Pappy!  If Biden made him more money, he'd be fine supporting him.

Cubs and Ourkid8 are more aligned:

Cubs:  That's not the moon, that's a piece of cheese!

Ourkid8:  Yes, that's Cheese that the Zionists are selling to poor Iranians!

Cubs:  Iranians that want to blow up the moon...so there's no cheese for anyone!

Ourkid8:  That's propaganda by the those that eat the most cheese!

Cubs:  Trump is just protecting American cheese!

Ourkid8:  American cheese?  Not even halal or kosher!

Cheers!
