Miley has been on their "list" for a while now I'm sure...

General Milley is truly a disgrace to the Armed Forces. He's a chicken shit coward that climbed his way to the top by kissing ass. He never figured Trump would get re-elected. There is no way in the world he can defend violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The guy is basically Eric Swalwell in a uniform.

What about Gen Mattis? Would you also describe him as a disgrace to the Armed Forces and a chicken shit coward that climbed his way to the top by kissing ass? He seems to share the same sentiment re Trump as Gen Milley.

2 Huge egos in the room - Mattis seemed to forget who his commander was. Too bad for him. Mattis was no POS like that fat blowhard Mark Milley.

Well, he must of done a good job of kissing Trump's ass, because Trump made him Chair of the Joint Chief of Staff back then.

Also, as usual, your hyperbole is wrong on Milley:

Yeah, why build something useful out of otherwise wasted space?

You consider a beautiful piece of land "wasted space"?  I'm not against a ballroom, but some architectural preservation and relevance to history would be nice, as well as something that doesn't make the actual White House look like an outhouse next to the sheer gargantuan ballroom!  Cheers!

You love your Factcheck BS.

The Fact is - Milley violated the UCMJ - but gets away with it - which is no surprise.  He is a disgrace to the Armed Forces.  Then he made a total fool of himself with his "I really want to understand white rage" testimony.  He reincarnated himself as Professor Kendi with his Critical Race Theory crap.

His crowning legacy will always be the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.

Good luck hiding that shit.

I think that may be where we differ...you say Mattis seemed to forget who his commander was...Military members swear an oath to the constitution. Ultimately Mattis "commander" is the document, not whomever happens to be sitting in the chair at Pennsylvania Ave.

Obviously neither of these men are of the same pedigree or caliber of Hegseth who defiantly did not climb his way to the top by kissing ass..but I do find it somewhat unprecedented that two very senior military commanders would make such bold claims about a POTUS, this does not warrant even the slightest question in ones mind?

I'm actually trying to keep it to the facts.

What is this?

Simply, primitive harrassment of a US subsidiary of a foreign country, European headquartered large listed company, listed outside USA, investing heavily in USA? Business friendly?

Isen't it exactly what POTUS want? And the US subsidiary incurring extra costs of a couple USD million a week, thereby also hitting the whole group as a whole, and when POTUS finds out he'll get nowhere with it, because he has no control over the justice system, POTUS TACO!

Please give me a break! This person is a moron!

Weird that they didn’t run this by any of the EU neighbors? Are they all really that worthless and lacking influence? Maybe next time they should try Katie Perry’s new boyfriend?

The plan is being revised .This is likely what happens next:

The irony:  The Afghan terrorist that shot two National Guard soldiers that is being blamed on the Biden Administration was actually approved to stay under Kash Patel and the Trump Administration!

But let's not talk about that...just blame Biden...probably will blame Hillary Clinton as well!  Everyone except themselves!

That's what Trump tells each of his wives..."Sorry, she just fell on my dick and kept hopping up and down!  Whoops, now we have Tiffany!"  Cheers!

I am afraid all this plan from the beginning was an is just Russian activity which gas nothing to do with ending the whole thing. By it they just 1. deferred any stronger sanctions or possible military assistance e.g. tomahawks coming (so far this has worked) 2. Ukraine has some internal political turbulence, so this further divides the county and anyway by accepting some "unexpectable" terms, this could lead to a internal disorder (as Medvedev states, Zelenksy would have to flee the country, if he accepts such things and then we will take them) and this could make they job easier, and 3. if Ukraine will not accept this (as likely will be), there is a chance of turning US away from further supporting Ukraine. So yes, basically this is a very good and somewhat already working plan from their point point of view...meanwhile it seems Russia is drafting even more man and even starting to accumulate long rage missiles for a while now being able to produce more then they used to immediately fire on Ukraine, so their position is only getting stronger.

I hate on the federal Liberals often but yesterday was a great turning point. I may be softening or am just too optimistic.

My hate stems from:

- Anti human policies under the guise of kindness

- Indigenous affairs. We are force fed land acknowledgments with no understanding of who we are talking about all the while actual native people sleep in the streets and have no access to clean water in many communities. We keep them poor and reliant and its a blight on our otherwise proud history of Canadian North America

- Immigration as a form of servitude to benefit large corps while rapidly changing our culture for the worse. This is treasonous behavior.

- Authoritarian policy during Covid. I get pissed of just thinking about it so will stop there.

- Stupid stuff like woke, Dei, celebrating mediocrity etc.

- A really hard left policy in regards to economics. Gov cant fix shit but they try with my money. I don't like it!

Anyway I have many more gripes but am keeping optimistic that the ship may be turning. Canada could be a great nation but Trudeau and his cabinet took us very far from that and in many ways the horse is out of the barn. It will be very hard so build back a culture so damaged but if we can fix the economics and some other keys points we may get there again.

The reality is that build big, also means big change, and folks aren't good with change. Trudeau left the building a while back; ongoing comparison to the Trudeau era, just evidences difficulty in accepting that change.

Lot of folks have vested interest in the 'old ways' continuing. The 'old ways' go out the door, they aren't relevant anymore, and don't know what to do (media, retired politicians); reinvention/early-retirement is a dirty world, and a scary place for those who haven't prepared. If you have small kids, reinvention happens every day; whereas, if you haven't done anything since they left home ... it is quite different.

The MOU is just an agreed upon industrial policy, if the potential project is not economic it doesn't get built. However, absent the MOU, it isn't possible to even build the project business case for evaluation.

Times are a changing.

Yeah, let's hear it for the people that are killing thousands of Americans every year.  Those poor drug lords.
