I think there's still room to go higher, but it's less easy money at this share price.

I am still very bullish - i just maintain the possibility that I am wrong so i took half the position off. And honestly i couldnt sleep well with the position sizing. At 5% i am more comfortable.

Fair enough.  Feels like this is a Narrative drives Price thing atm, not you, but generally.  It was untouchable for so long, but now the price has corrected, everyone feels more nervous (myself included!).  It's crazy it's just been at the Nov 21 peak price.

 

For me, the main issue is size - how much bigger can they get?  Can Elephants gallop?  But then, given the prices, the volumes probably can get bigger.

 

Meanwhile you have an Outstanding family-led management team who execute so well.

 

I guess the turnaround is predominantly China/Asia recovery - though I imagine all the IPO money might help a bit too! (Or will that go more to Ferrari...).

 

I also hope it is inflation-proof.

I have a midsize position and sold the shares in my retirement account. The taxable shares are a tougher decision because some of them will hit the 1 year mark (and lower capital gains) in a couple of months.

Got a bid, and closed Oct'26 LQDA $20 puts sold in Feb to fund OTM calls at that time. They had ~20% premium in Feb.

I bought it around 1550 blended, so while i would love to say i am so in love with the stock that at 1400 i would make it a 20% position, thats obviously not true. For me I question where next leg up in growth is coming from and that is what gave me concern and caused me to sell a bit.

Exactly my concern, and why even though in the heat of the moment I was really super excited to have it at 10% of my portfolio, I am concerned about the growth. And I think if they increase volumes too much then the exclusivity disappears and pop goes the balloon (a la LV). At 5% it is sufficiently large for me to enjoy the gains and sufficiently small for me not to over worry myself.

Sounds good.  It's a wonderful company (at a price).  Hard to find much higher quality, so worth a place in a portfolio.  Good luck to us all!
