But Biden had 4 years of failure!

We're just getting started😂!

Getting started...of failure too?  I hope not!  🤣  Cheers!

"You guys"?  Who is that?  Can't speak for others but I kept my opinion about Biden completely to myself.  You are here judging an entire 4 year term after less than 7 months.  No difference than me telling you your LULU investment sucks.  Neither one make a damn bit of sense because they would both be laughably premature.

I'm not judging his mandate, since I agree with some of it...I'm pointing out his misses with his own timeline.

Others are definitely judging his mandate.  If anything I'm judging his execution and how he's going about getting what he wants done.  And I definitely don't like the guy...I think he's one of the biggest, narcissistic, assholes God ever created!  In my opinion, he could blow things up as much as he could fix them...the guy is a fucking idiot!

What was the timeline I said with LULU...12 months to 3 years.  So naturally, it would be stupid for you to judge it based on 6-7 months.  Cheers!

His timeline has been remarkably accurate if you care to look at it objectively.  Closed border, largely eliminated woke agenda, dealt with Israel/Iran, attempted to bring trade in balance with tariffs, extended the prior tax laws, embraced capitalism, strengthened the military  etc.... Yeah, those are the policies I voted for.  Could care less about "the guy" or what anyone thinks of him.

Thanks for reading the article @whiskybravo.  I don't think your "gotcha" that the August numbers improved slightly from an abysmally low number in July is really the brag that you may think.  The numbers have been so bad that there is really only one way for them to go! 😂

But your excuse is valid so I will edit my original post to now include excuse #12 - Find one small sliver of fact/hope and use that small sliver of fact/hope to try to invalidate the rest of the message.

I easily invalidated the whole message, because you didn’t read the article (that you posted) and therefore didn’t realize that manufacturing has been negative for all but two months since November 2022.  The two months that were positive themselves invalidated your headline.  Easy peasy

Remember when black people had to sit at another counter in the restaurant, ride at the back of the bus, use a different washroom and were castrated if they were involved with a white woman?  When women had to illegally get an abortion or have a baby even if it was due to incest or rape...when they were told to stay in the kitchen and not work outside the home?  When gay and trans people were blackballed from work, dragged behind trucks on paved roads, and not allowed to love each other like straight people?  Those were the days!  Happy memories!

Well we're half way back there!  Keep up the good work!  Cheers!

No, I dont remember any of that. At least not in my lifetime anywhere Ive lived.

I don’t remember this because I wasn’t born. But I’ve read about it, and it’s terrible.

Still, I’ve spent my entire professional life watching white men (and women) getting passed over for DEI hires. That gets old too, although I fully admit it’s not nearly as bad as the racism you cited.

I for one am a big fan of meritocracy. Racism is antithetical to meritocracy. Even when we are being racist to somehow make up for our grandparents being even more racist 60 years ago.

Next, naturally, the Russian adversary accusing Denmark of what Russia does it self, naturally [😅], you can't make this up [ 😅 ], best KGB style :

TASS - Russian News Agency [September 3rd 2025] : Denmark actively promoting escalation of Ukraine conflict — Russian envoy.

Make up your mind, and check with whatever hand is your primary : 'Balls, or just no Balls?" [😅 ], - here, lingering is absolutely not an option!" - And now throw this Russian Ambassador to Denmark Vladimir Barbin out of here! - How difficult can it be?

+1

But I am cautiously optimistic about his performance for much the same reason as @73 Reds points out below.

It’s sad that our country needs such an asshole, but otherwise it seems to be going down the woke shitter.

Donald Trump is like the foul mouthed septic repairman. When your world is overflowing with shit, you just need someone willing to pump it I guess.

People with an agenda latch onto the easiest, most convenient way to attack an opponent or someone they don't like.  With Trump its easy, just attack his person.  Or cherry pick policies you don't agree with.  But that's entirely useless when it comes to binary elections.  From my perspective we were heading down the shitter, and fast.  Regrettably and as you said, we needed someone like Trump to right the ship.    The policies on the other side are dangerous - less law enforcement, no border control, subsidize everything for everyone, refuse to recognize the difference between genders, ignore history you don't like and destroy any evidence so no one can learn from it..... and on and on and on.

Well you need to be punished because you are white.

Nah ... FPRT is an equal opportunity company! that will happily make and sell fuel to either side.

It's just that in Russian devices ... it is prone to premature ignition 😄

There's nothing wrong with DEI except that people with an extreme agenda pushed it too far.  But at the same time, there's no reason to get rid of it altogether as well.

It seems as though the U.S. for the last 25 years has been teetering between one extreme or another.  No balance...just extremes!

And now you have another extremist pushing the scales the other way again.  Just back and forth!  It's why I would love to just see a centrist, as I think the vast majority of people would.

Cheers!

While I thoroughly enjoy a good Clint Eastwood movie, the Dirty Harry movies were relatively extreme even for when they were made, let alone today.  The whole jugaboo/honky stereotypes...black felons who are stupid, white cops who go over the line...people should know better, but I guess they don't!

Now All in the Family...that's a different story.  Same stereotypes, but used in a way to show how everyone can be racist to a degree...black, white or otherwise!  And we're still dealing with the same fucking issues they were facing back then!  Again...America and progress!  Cheers!

That's ideology - not reality.  The reality is the country is very divided.  Now you can ask how that came about and its worthy of an entirely different conversation.  But a centrist would not be electable today by the masses.

There is nothing wrong with DEI other than it has been used as a hammer to divide us in America.  Race relations were far, far better in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's.  Good old Barrack Obama drove race relations to a new low.

That will always be his legacy.

Now, of course, millions of Blacks & Hispanics are supporting Trump as a rejection to the disastrous DEI agenda.

DEI will always be rat poison to race relations.

Also totally agree here, and I think the septic repairman analogy holds quite well 😂 I was just having this discussion with a friend after getting an $1,800 bill for a 3 hour job.

On the flip side, the "merit" part of meritocracy is indistinguishable from zip code.

I think Biden got elected by promising to be a centrist, and then immediately sold his soul to the progressive woke brigade. I’d like to see a centrist too, from either party.

Only the bad ones. Good zip codes are always filled full of people from all backgrounds that clawed their way to the top. Unless I misunderstood your comment which is possible.

Nah.  I know plenty of well off Americans worth millions who started with nothing and came from a working class background.  Really weird that you think these people don’t exist.
