I don’t think it’s simple at all. I think those who criticize Israel for their actions in Gaza have valid points and what started as defense, the became and offensive war and has morphed into genocide. Where exactly the threshold from one to the other is, is hard to tell but it seems like the threshold has been crossed where they just pound civilians and without much difference. This also seems to be a losing strategy from a political point of view, which is all that matter because this will not be solved militarily.

The problem with MLP, Reits etc is that the stocks tend to be cyclical too and capital market dependent (large debt) and crash at the worst possible time . So they are useless as a source of funds for equity purchases in most bear markets.
