Yes, I want the leverage.

What is today's fully diluted market cap of MSTR compared to the $13 Billion USD worth BTC they own?

(I tried to figure it out on my own.  Best I can come up with is fully diluted $28 Billion market cap for $13 Billion worth of BTC currently.)

What's MSTR's future earnings growth?

I don't know.  You tell me!  What is your expectation?

Separately - does that math look right on a fully diluted market cap today?  Around $28 Billion fiat dollars?  Or is the future so bright you don't even bother with such details?

I'm pretty committed to the simple belief that BTC is a product Fink/Blackrock will successfully sell (as they did MBS and ESG). I don't need to speculate beyond that to justify the position.

And since I don't know how to value a company doing something that has never been done before, I just accept that the Market has traded it like a leveraged BTC fund. That works for me.

50% MSTR

35% BRK

7.5% Money Market Fund

2.5% Info Tech ETF

2.5% Small Value ETF

2.5% Energy ETF

You are bold sir.

I recall your portfolio's largest component was Berkshire at 40% (if i am not remembering wrong.) with the rest being ETFs (i think)

Now the largest is MSTR at 50%

We'll see.

Age 60, four years into retirement, dependent upon my portfolio, I'm only betting what I can afford to lose.

But just seems like a unique opportunity. Not often a new asset class is created.

Not much change in the larger positions, but new small/mid position in MSCI, FRPH, KRKNF, and ENPH.  The right tail is usually things I buy a few shares in while I study them and then add to them or replace them with something else that looks interesting and needs more research.

No, I exported this data from my Merrill account, which won't let me buy Kraken, so I looked at the position size in my other brokerage account and typed it in the excel sheet by hand. In that other account JOE is probably another 1.5% also, but otherwise it's accurate.

The last year I’ve really whittled down my holdings. I’m about ~20% cash right now and have a few odds and ends positions/ trackers left in things like FRP, DEO, some HA puts from beginning of the year, …and the stubborn SBERCY

In order of size

CASY is roughly 4.3% of my portfolio, however my cost basis = $271 from 01/31/2024, and at inception on 01/31/2024, it was around 3.5% of my portfolio.

This is beautiful. I have the cowards version of this. 11.5% CSU, 11.25% BRK, 6% GOOGL, 6% TVK, 5.5% MKL then a lot of your smaller ones in similar sizes.

Thinking strongly about taking TVK to 10% if it goes below $50 US.

Im fairly concentrated in my portfolio right now not out of strategy or conviction but because my top 2 positions have run up quite a lot in the last 2 years (while every other position has gone the other way 😄 ).

I've seen DFIN pop up on this thread with some decent allocation. I'm at 7%. The investment ideas DFIN thread has almost no engagement!

Roughly 14% at market.  I would not be a buyer of TDG here, although I continue to hold and I think it will do quite well, just not as cheap as GE Aerospace and Safran both of which I would buy today if suddenly a pile of cash fell into my lap.

Started buying since late 2021 ($16-17) and traded in and out over 2024. Agree, there isn't much coverage on here and on fintwit, but ~3.5x on a ~4yr holding is not too shabby - certainly compensated for some of the many other dumb decisions I made over that same period 😂  😭 😂

Over the past 2 years I have simplified my portfolios (just in case I die my wife will have a easier time figuring things out) I sold out of a lot of my  individual stocks that were larger positions. I also took almost all my cash and parked it in index funds. My coffee can portfolio is my Roth IRA which means those positions are small since contributions are capped (I buy one new position per year). When I find a high conviction high return bet I plan to sell out of some of the index funds and purchase up to a 10% position, but so far I haven’t found much that meets both return and conviction criteria.
