Pretty entertaining take-down of the ABC reporter!

Entertaining?!  That was a fucking disgrace from the President.  The man who wouldn't release the Epstein files, accommodated every wish of Ghilsane Maxwell and was Epstein's best friend for over a decade, now saying that everyone else is a creep or crappy reporter.  Biggest asshole in American history!  Cheers!

Frankly, I'm interested in them getting everyone...not just Trump.  I hope it rips a hole through the fabric of the elite and brings them all down to earth!  Cheers!

Exactly. Burn it down. None of it would’ve been possible with the establishment.

But @cubsfan why has Trump waited for Congress to vote to release the Epstein files....why hasn't he just done it already?

Where were you when Biden was sitting on those files for 4 years.
Not a peep!

Like POTUS said - not a frickin' word from ABC about the involvement of Reid Hastings, Clinton, Summers or Gates.

"Let's get Trump" --- we got nothing else these days!

And not a peep of an answer from you on the question I asked you or the ABC reporter asked Trump......I'll ask again cause I am really interested in a coherent argument for why Trump has waited for Congress to vote to release the Epstein files....why hasn't he just done it already?

What about Joe Biden is not a coherent argument to the question at hand here today....its really just deflection....and I'm interested in arguments?

Hey dude - I ain't Trump and can't speak for him on this issue.

You definitely have my permission to have all the Epstein files you like!

I just don't have any pull with Trump!

My answer is:  I have no frickin' idea. So go ahead and read anything into it you like.

Good to see you're so knee deep in this crisis.

Sure, that is a legitimate question for anyone to be asking Donald Trump.

However it has zero rebuttal credibility/worthiness to the question of "where was this concern pre Trump" posed to an individual whom is currently complaining? And the answer is simple; you can either demonstrate you were raising a shit fit about Epstein pre Trump, or you weren't.

The 'whataboutism' on the Epstein stuff is a little bit out control in this thread IMO.

I enjoy hearing opposing views on issues of the day..... but only when they are actually opposing views rooted in an opposing argument or viewpoint.

Whataboutism isn't an opposing viewpoint or argument. Its informational value is about ZERO. It amounts to political party propaganda.

what about Bill Clinton? what about Reid Hoffman? What about Bill Gates? What about Larry Summers? What about democratic Congresswoman that nobody has ever heard of called Stacey Plasket back in 2019.......🤣

What deflective nonsense....Trump is the sitting US President....he holds and has control off and the power to release the Epstein files...he is in the Epstein files....he campaigned on the promise to release them....and he wouldn't do so even in the face of his own supporters clamoring and campaigning for him to do so....he's attempted from the White House for weeks now to jackknife the Epstein transparency bills passing in House and caved on the subject a couple of days ago when its passing became an inevitability.

THAT is the REAL question at hand.....and I'd really be interested in an answer to it that isnt whataboutism.....the leftie lunatics say its cause he's a pedo which is delusional bullshit......but I'd really like to hear coherent argument as to why Trump has done what he's done here for the last few months. I really would.

I do know that the reason everyone is having a heart attack about the Epstein files is because they need SOMETHING after the shutdown debacle that is destroying the Democratic Party.

Couldn't be more clear.

So what your saying is that questions cant exist on their own merits? That questions somehow need to be built on foundations of historical record......that the questioners history is as important as the question?

I'm sorry thats doublespeak nonsense.....a legitimate question, is a legitimate question.....regardless of who is asking it. End of story.

Not when we're dealing with the TDS crowd....it's pretty cut and dry, plain and simple. Your party had the files for four years. There was not a peep about them from you guys? Now it's the soup de jour.....please LOL

And again, in context as well(well, sans the eight paragraph "reading Trump and everyone else's mind" pieces) Trump in less than a year did(assuming theyre released), something the liberal hero and walking dead guy didnt in 4 years....it literally never stops, does it?

Whataboutism is a perfectly legitimate form of argument.

I was gonna ask Spek if he really believed that, or what? Because too often we hear cooing about news sources and all from em, but then they come to the table with obviously distorted stories from Reddit, CNN, and Twitter lmfao….

I posted exactly to what Bessent said “ as The migrants they brought some of their cattle with them”, so we had to close the America border. Thats exactly the BS he said word for word.

Epstein files fallout will be much bigger than Trump!  I think it will be very interesting to see which leaders/celebrities become fallen idols after they are released.

Prince Andrew and Lawrence Summers are the first ones getting cancelled...there will be tons on both sides of the aisles and in many walks of life that will disappear from the spotlight.  They call it "step back from public roles", but no one will touch them with a ten foot pole now...they will all become radioactive!  Cheers!

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/lawrence-summers-faces-scrutiny-over-212904185.html

It’s quite something - Summers asked Epstein about relationship advice how to handle his mistress in 2017-19, That was about 10 years after Epstein was widely known to be a sex offender. Why in the hell would a public person ask a well known sex offender for relationship advice for his mistress? It’s so dumb it almost hurts.

It’s the guy you quoted that’s the issue rather than anything you said.  Bessent said something that doesn’t seem supported by evidence, and the person you linked claimed Bessent said something he did not.

He is not totally wrong either. I don’t think releasing the Epstein files will do much than embarrassing rich and influential people but won’t lead to much prosecutions if any. So we can all enjoy how these folks embarrass themselves like Summers did.

We also know that Trump is not easily embarrassed  so it will be more or less a nothing burger from that perspective.

Until the American people unite, revelations like the names in the Epstein files will only fuel the divisiveness. Emotion is the kryptonite to analysis. Most people are still just looking for some discovery to sling at the “opposition.” We’ve gone from “voting for the lesser evil” to grandstanding on the shoulders of your perceived lesser evil as if that’s some type of moral victory. I’m all for releasing the Epstein files and seeing what’s there. Root out the filth and hang’em…However, something tells me this is the tip of the iceberg. More questions, divisiveness, and grandstanding on deck along with zero accountability.

You do begin to wonder if there is light at the end of this tunnel…

He was pissed because she asked a question about the Saudi Prince being a guest after the murder of Jamal Khashoggi and if there isn't a conflict of interest having him there with Don Jr., Eric and Jared doing huge deals with the Saudi's.  So he ripped into her about that.  Then she asked about the Epstein files and he went ballistic, threatening to have ABC's license pulled.

The guy is a fucking asshole and a disgrace to the Presidency, who you completely adore...even Greg and others have some things they just can't back...but you will defend anything he does!   You don't give two shits about any of his behavior, who he hires, what he does illegally...only that he pushes the agenda you want.  That's just fucking sad!  Cheers!

We're not even going to get to see the full Epstein files.  Most of it will be redacted or scrubbed.  It won't be until some whistleblower leaks the originals that we'll eventually know everything.  And it likely isn't going to happen while Trump is in office or alive.  Cheers!

Yup, that's pretty much right.

The list of accomplishments in 10 months is pretty stunning, and Trump will go down as one of the greatest Presidents of all times. Hopefully, he won't be assassinated along the way.  There is much damage left to correct from the last loser - and it looks like justice is coming, albeit slowly.

Canada should give it a shot sometime, and it wouldn't be in such a mess.

@Castanza Agreed.  Unfortunately it usually takes a major catastrophic event that affects everyone (i.e., 9/11) for people to forget about their silly political differences, which are entirely unimportant in the big scheme of things.  The amount of time and energy wasted on such bickering is simply astonishing.

Cubs c'mon man....Sure Trump is making moves on some things (very few)....but you cannot look past the blatant abuse of power when it comes to self enriching, continued weaponization of the judicial system, bypassing congress when it comes to tax changes, weaponization of the Nat Guard and ICE coupled to the massive amounts of Constitutional Violations, and abuse of the media. Trump will not go down as one of the best presidents ever, not by a long shot. Good leaders set good examples despite adversity or what the "opposition" is doing. Personal integrity and character do matter as well. Trump has none of that...

I'm generally a slightly right of center person...I voted for Trump in his first term but did not in his second campaign nor this last campaign. Saying someone who quotes Napoleon (an absolute dictator), cozies up with Saudi and Qatar (terrorist sponsoring States), and possibly permanently degrades tradition, relationships with allies, and unspoken rules is one of the greatest presidents of all time is just wrong....

Trump is an evil necessity.  Blame the left; blame a corrupt media; blame a tainted justice department; blame a pendulum that had swung too far.  No one supports him for his grating personality.  Yet judging his results after less than 1/4 of his term is not fair.  As a supporter of most of his policies, I am satisfied thus far because the polices are what i voted for.

History will say differently after the reversal of so much of the destruction of American culture.  The courts will settle the "abuses of power", which squarely fall under Article 2 of the Constitution. So far, Trump is following excellent legal advice that is being upheld by the Supreme Court.  The reduction of crime in cities where ICE/National guard has been employed is stunning. Thousands of child sex offenders, rapists and murders have been removed from the streets in spite of Sanctuary cities trying to protect them. Inflation has been tamed after 20% debacle unleashed by the very foolish Biden clown show.

You're watching history in the making as our leader saves the country while European leaders show no courage and watch their continent self destruct.

Bold leadership for tough times is not for softies.
