I wonder how many of the cult (and the non cult) Trump supporters are also Munger supporters. Take power of incentives, add a dash of the Stanford Prison experiment, while pissing all over the constitution and you end up with this insanity. Locked in a prison cell with the lights on 24/7? That’s what they do in Russia. 60 days, no due process, for a 65 yo white grandma legal tourist from Britain. I wonder how much in bonuses the guards at Auschwitz got paid? As I have said since this thread began, Trump is a unique personality who gets empowered doing things that harm others. It has been this way for nearly 50 years. What most can't seem to grasp is that to stay on top and in to control of the minds of the support group Trump must continue, and an intermittent unpredictable path for this works by far the best, to up the ante with actions that run all over rules, laws, and customs. Most recently some people, those who aren't thinking clearly, think Trump has gotten a bloody nose from the Supreme Court's decision. I could not possibly disagree more! This presumed defeat by the court is exactly the thing that makes Trump who he is. How will he leapfrog this miss-called setback? He's gone around threatening tariffs here and there, his main weapon of super-strutting his sloppy fat ass saggy painted up jowls around for about a year. Watch closely, Trump now desperately needs to do something more dramatic to keep his little red cap cubs close. I can assure you that every single minute of his time is filled with a rage that will sling-shot some impulsive behavior/decision that will grab the media by the balls and allow the master to dominate further! But again what you miss is that the Supreme Court just empowered Trump LOL. This is precisely the type thing that has made this man who he is in the minds of his support group. White man gunna get what's supposed to be his, nothing gunna stop it. Life is great...if you can stand it.
SharperDingaan Posted February 22 Posted February 22 (edited) Nobody waits for tariffs to be 'refunded', they just refuse to pay any go-forward tariffs .... take it out of what you owe us. Tariffs are also paid by the buyer ... so tariff free import flow is now wide open But best of all .... who buys all the debt that Orange Boy needs to issue to pay for the coming Iran war ? .... Eff you, should be worth a few thousand points on the Dow Grab 'em by the balls ..... and SQUEEEEZE. Duck a la orange! SD Edited February 22 by SharperDingaan
JRM Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I think the Fulton County voting irregularities is a great example of how 95% of the population are completely unaware of what the issues are and what is going on. This is due to a complete lack of media coverage other than "Orange Man raids Fulton County". All voting was stopped in the middle of the night due to a "water main leak", which turned out to be fake. Then a few people came back in and pulled some boxes out from under the tables and started counting votes. They were ON CAMERA scanning the same ballot multiple times. Who cares about one county in one state? This happened in six or seven states in very similar fashion. How many states used the Covid emergency to bypass their state legislature and allow mass mail-in voting (illegally)? Why does it matter now? This will be all the support we need to clean up our elections and get rid of electronic voting machines and demand voter ID in every state. Maybe the states shouldn't be in charge of federal elections?

Spekulatius Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I am fairly sure Iran is on top. The armada is already getting assembled and should be complete by around Tuesday. He also has a State of the Union Rant scheduled for Tuesday night: https://www.cfr.org/articles/donald-trump-delivers-the-state-of-the-union-address-tuesday-night The bomb will go off about tariff thing when it will be clear it will be a big windfall for retailers who kept the receipts for tariffs paid and ask for a refund. They offloaded most price increases to their customers but that’s hard to prove and customer don’t have receipts. Same with car manufacturers. Little guy got screwed here big time but that’s nothing new. Maybe I should by some Target here. Anyways the next week should be interesting.

Ruling on a set of facts placed before it by applying specific case law, precedent and rationale. IMO they got it right for the correct, rather narrow reasons. When other laws, procedures and avenues exist, why do you or anyone assume that they should be affected by a narrow court ruling that would be otherwise inapplicable?

The difference is we both tend to only respond to the barrage of Trump-hate. The fact that some of you here (maybe not you) feel that because we support certain Trump policies we are members of some "cult" demonstrates how little you all know or appreciate about one's perspective on things. Can't recall ever feeling the need to post anything about anyone in such a negatively-deranged way in spite of personal feelings one way or the other. It's as if you just can't help yourselves. Calling 'em like I see 'em.

Why can’t you put up with the fact that Biden won the election fair and square with his huge support among the 115+ year old age cohort. Just kidding folks!

How embarrassing for Fulton County election commission. I'm used to it, having lived in Cook County (Chicago) with corrupt elections - but not Georgia. The search warrant filing is a hoot with the probable cause: https://justthenews.com/sites/default/files/2026-02/gov.uscourts.gand_.355087.22.1.pdf My favorite is the auditor that worked on a single batch of 110 Fulton County votes, where 107 of them were identical on multiple candidates. Those are the same odds as a monkey sitting at a piano and playing a Mozart symphony.

All the people who ask why these matters have not been investigated before or why there is no previous evidence of election fraud are the same people who tend to form judgments on other matters before the final verdict is read. The other thing these folks have in common is they all have a narrative. Imagine simply investigating irregularities without a vested interest in the outcome. At least we seem to have one example here but the mere idea gets people so twisted in knots the outcome won't matter to them if it doesn't suit their ideology. I mean is consistent voting procedures across all States and all elections really a divisive issue? Maybe someday elections will no longer even be necessary - just ask AI for the results on Election Day. Edited February 22 by 73 Reds spelling
