I don’t have the first clue how the FBI works, but what does this say about society!?!

This Reddit posting incel sees something bizarre….hes nearly certain (according to his posting) that it’s related. And rather than take this to the authorities, he’s posting on some loser message board?

If you think the authorities are incompetent , going public seems like a better option. It also makes sure that the incompetent people don’t get any credit.

Ha!  You remember that!  You're Canadian heritage kicking in.

JD Roberts, Erica something or other and one other person (Julie something)...they were the first three VJ's on Muchmusic...which launched before MTV!  Cheers!

I think Chris Ward was actually the first. Incidentally he also wrote the song Black Velvet for Alanna Miles. Back when music television was actually about music.

Imagine sitting next to that guy at Christmas dinner? Like looking down at your plate, then looking up, then trying to make conversation but not knowing what to say because he’s clearly mentally off and most likely just defined by his political angst; then just kinda shrug and go “hey, buddy, everything’s gonna be alright”….

I hate those guys who just want to talk politics.  Met a guy at an event one time, he found out my wife was American and started roasting her about Trump.  I had to tell him to stfu.

Yea they’re losers. If you’re high level you do well regardless of what idiots in office(at least in terms of POTUS). Leave the “concern” for “those kind”, (back in the 90s we had a two word phase, championed by Eminem, for them), to take it to twitter or Reddit for adoration…

Talking politics in Germany (and I think in most of Europe) is not the tabu it is in the USA.

No big deal to have a nice political argument between friends. Whoever has the best jokes about the other party wins. I felt the Brits were the same or even more thick skinned but maybe that has changed.

It’s not a taboo here either.  We weren’t friends with the guy, it was the first time we ever met him.  My wife made the mistake saying she thought Trump was ok, and an previously friendly conversation turned into immediate moralising and lecturing for 15 minutes about Trump killing kids and you have to be evil to vote for him etc etc.  I lost my temper listening in on the conversation, and I had to tell him to shut up, that I didn’t know him, and I didn’t care what his F’ing opinions were.

I don’t mind talking politics, but in nearly every case all the people who want to openly talk politics and moralise are liberals.  And sometimes when you give your honest opinion they take offence and think you’re an awful person, which when I was younger used to make me feel shitty for a day or so - not so much now.  So they don’t mind you talking politics provided it’s conforming.

I felt bad being rude to him but I was told later that he was one of these guys who has nothing else going on in his life and conversing with politics was all he ever did.  Just such a boring way to live.  Didn’t feel so bad after that.

Not true.  I hate it when people generalize.  I have one friend and one colleague.  We talk about business all the time over coffee, and at some point, it always turns to how badly Canada is run and how things are so much better in the U.S.

Believe it or not, I try and avoid talking about politics.  But like you when that jackass criticized your wife, I hate it when people start running their mouth and generalizing about things like politics or people.

So it isn't any one specific group moralizing...it tends to be specific people...often people unhappy with their lot in life and they need to blame others for their problems, since it just simply couldn't be them!  Cheers!

Everywhere is different, in the UK it’s been this way for years.  Genuinely never had a person with conservative views, who I’ve just met, try and talk politics.  Never.  I’m unsure why, but it does seem like people live and breath politics and don’t understand that other people just don’t.  Like you, I never talk politics with strangers, and I try not to with anyone else either actually.

Does not excuse the mistreatment, but it seems that ultimately most of these cases do have a reason. At the very end of the article:

"Lara’s Instagram account, which was apparently thoroughly examined by the U.S. border control, tells the story of a woman who likes fashion, good food, and loves to travel. In the past, she even gave her online lessons from the snowy Swiss mountains, from Spain, and yes, also from New York."

If your social media shows you working as a tourist in the U.S., you are asking for trouble.

What happened to freedom of the press in the US?

Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss raised several concerns with “60 Minutes” producers about Alfonsi’s segment and requested a substantial amount of new material to be added, NYT reported, citing sources.

She suggested adding an interview with White House official Stephen Miller or another senior Trump administration figure, the report said. Weiss further questioned the use of the term “migrants” to describe the Venezuelan men who were deported, noting they were in the U.S. illegally, the report added.

In her note, Alfonsi stated that her team had sought comments from the White House, the State Department, and the Department of Homeland Security.

“If the administration’s refusal to participate becomes a valid reason to spike a story, we have effectively handed them a ‘kill switch’ for any reporting they find inconvenient,” Alfonsi was quoted as saying.

LOL! - This guy must be really dumb, totally stupid!  He's burning the bridge in front of him! When he lands up there, he will get the same treatment as POTUS' son, 'frozen out', perhaps even rotten tomatoes and eggs!

Nobody wants to talk with him now, nor to him, or to listen to him! Basically he has disarmed himself a priori!

And he'll never experience innuit hospitality, inuit hubby lending out wifey to guest, to keep guest happy and warm under the polar bear skin!

It's the usual nonsense, lies and spin, to add to Epstein deflection.

Also, partly Greenland related, related to, and about cajun music, cajun food and cajun laundry :

Dear L. N.

As you know by now, I have taken the “short route” home. Good luck! We shared one thing… our love & caring for young ladies at the hope they’d reach their full potential.

Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to “grab snatch,” whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system.

Life is unfair.

Yours
J. Epstein"

Man, the depths of the "Get Trump" disease.....furiously combing through vomit inducing pedophile material, even teaming up with or siding with pedophiles, hoping to find the "smoking gun" that two decades worth of law enforcement professionals "must've missed"...god bless y'all LOL

I've said a million times.....Trump aint a pedo....but I think you've got to admit @Gregmal that if given the choice as a politician you'd prefer not to be referenced in postcards like this by convicted pedos one of which used to be your best friend.....poltical capital matters and Trump has lost alot because of ties to Epstein and the blocking of the release of the Epstein files......which we all know why now........2025 is/was peak Trump....he feels already like a diminished figure and that is only going to accelerate I think

It's just rather eye opening and disturbing how rabid so many people are; obsessed with this material, but society is what it is. I dont get true crime obsessions either, but also think true crime material and child sex abuse are two vastly different things. In aggregate Ive spent about zero hours of my time on either. To each their own I guess.

Trump is ambitious and calculating, and has eyes/ears all over.

He's the definition of Buffett's smart, energetic, and unethical. AVOID.

I'd have to agree. The whole Trump knew Epstein drama is a huge nothing-burger.

Yet, not a peep about hundreds of thousands of children/women sex-trafficking via the Biden open border.  Homan reported this week that Homeland Security has located 129,000 unaccounted children of the 450,000 that Biden administration had "lost".

Unfortunately- they found 16 dead - no one gives a fuck about them or the other 300,000 missing children yet to be accounted for...

But let's hear some more about Epstein and ignore real tragedy.

US Politics is a low rent soap opera......it just so happens that what happens in DC matters for the economy/markets......a diminished Trump due to Epstein, then the Dems getting back in control in the House maybe even the Senate takes alot of Trump moron risk off the table.....some people dont think he's a moron and they are entitled to their opinion.....I am firmly in the Trump moron camp with Rex Tillerson, Gen Kelly et al who all saw this idiot up close in his first four years and below the whistle....anything that diminishes his power to do truly dumb stuff it to be welcomed....whats left after that is just his ability to affect kind of traditional GOP policy which I can get behind.....Trump Lite is a good result for everyone IMO.....we had full fat Trump in 2025 (DOGE, Liberation Day) but thankfully those dumb dumb days are behind us I think.

For the Trump-is-a-moron crowd --- I can't wait to hear more about their economic predictions of tariff armageddon and world economic collapse.  It was highly entertaining this year coming from everyone but the Trump administration.
