Kennedy Center renamed in "unanimous" vote - if you don't count the votes that Trump muted and ignored!

https://thedailyadda.com/2025/12/19/each-time-i-tried-to-speak-i-was-muted-congresswoman-exposes-fake-vote-as-trump-hijacks-kennedy-center-for-performing-arts/

“What you may hear is that there was a unanimous vote to rename the Kennedy Center the Trump Center,” Beatty said. “Be clear, I was on that call and as I tried to push my button to voice my concern, to ask questions, and certainly not to vote in support of this, I was muted. Each time I tried to speak I was muted. Participants were not allowed to voice their concerns who were online yet it was said at the end it was a unanimous vote.”

No it’s not. Been in several mid sized cities in Germany and France and I don’t see much if any difference. Are there a few Islamic women with scraps every once in while. Yes, but I have seen those 10 or even 20 years go.  It really depends on where you go to and major cities like Paris or Marseille are not “everywhere”.

Where are you located for reference?

The UK, and yes, the change has been noticeable but not large in my normal haunt.

And finally, the good, hardworking, very intelligent people of Kentucky are falling victim to Trumpy's EV pullback:

Kash Patel proves what we've known all along: He is completely incompetent.

FBI Director Kash Patel continues to come under fire as it appears that a Reddit user did a better job of getting leads on the Brown University shooter than the entire FBI.

That's hilarious. The clowns at Brown University really screwed the pooch. $90,000 per year to have the cameras turned off. The only reason they catch the guy is because of the neighbors security cameras.

What's happening in Europe is a preview of what is coming in the USA if it is not snuffed out. Couldn't be more clear. You're right to be worried.

I'm optimistic about the US on this issue. Our constitution will thwart Sharia law, if it is tried.

The future of the country depends on its people.  Change enough of the people, or the values of enough of the people, and the constitution won’t much matter.

Absolutely true.

Look no further than sanctuary cities and local jurisdictions that feel they can disobey any federal law they wish. They will twist, bend, and break any law that their evil ideology says they must.

I think it varies very much by country, but probably the best exaple would be Sweden (especialy Stockholm or Malm), because they basically had zero problems not so long ago with all this and now it is day and night. France and Germany at least were able to get used and deal with it slowly:)

I think this is right.

Related to Sweden, especially Malmö, back in 2012, I had good colleague working out of Malmö, when all this started in Malmö [shootings, killings, bombs]. As the good colleague I always strived to be, I made him a suggestion for a new company car, when his compensation package was up for discussion next time - as always ready to give constructive advice and suggestions to colleagues in need of so, - also mentioning for him that it would be important to emphasize for his boss  the marketing value of it for the business, because it would look great with the company logo on it! Howard Lutnick's defense of Trump's 400-500-600% drop in drug prices after Fox News host question:

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/fox-news-host-calls-trumps-050008098.html

Absolutely hilarious!  Apparently Lutnick didn't do grade school math either.  These are the morons running the country and creating policy, including worm-brain infested jackasses like Robert Kennedy Jr.

Not TDS...just critical of math and science deniers!  Cheers!

Amazing that our old friend from Muchmusic JD Roberts is the voice of reason in that interview.  Lutnick is just a shrill for Trump, not sure he is actually doing anything at all.

Yep Europe have at least raised the cost for Russia of continuing the war by putting together this €90b package.....Trump's complete capitulation before getting to the negotiating table is not how wars are actually ended....they are ended when the costs relative to the gains to each side of continuing the war become intolerable (i.e. mutually hurting stalemate).......Trump's simplistic solution was to attempt to collapse the Ukrainian side forgetting they have Europe's support & are in an existential fight for their lives.

If he truly wanted the war ended waving the white flag to Russia was not the way to do it....it simply emboldened Putin in his settlement demands ensuring Ukraine couldn't countenance a peace deal on those terms.....the correct strategy, obvious to anyone with half a brain, was to raise the theoretical costs to Russia to continuing the war before setting the table for peace talks such that you minimized Russia's demands such that some thin landing strip could be found.

I don’t have the first clue how the FBI works, but what does this say about society!?!

This Reddit posting incel sees something bizarre….hes nearly certain (according to his posting) that it’s related. And rather than take this to the authorities, he’s posting on some loser message board?

Yes, @changegonnacome,

It's basically The Coalition of the Willing stepping in to set the agenda, which has grown out of EU, dismantling the veto, blocking power af the EU members with a friendly attitude towards Russia, Putins regime.

And it was about time something serious got deciced to send a Putin a signal, [also ref. Mikes [ @cubsfans ] comments earlier about the matter], that is not subject for interpretation of Russia, Putin.

All those maneuvers by POTUS that he has dupped 'peace negotiations' have been nothing but *BS*, spin, 'the art of the deal *BS*, now he is really occupied of fire fighting an other melt down [the E files], that has got out his control, ref. i.e. Sanjeev [ @Parsad ] above.

The day before yesterday must not have been Putins. I suppose that he now realize that he'll never even see the shadow of the RTussian funds frozen here in Europe.

Here is a Times Radio video with Bill Browder on the day the loan decision was made, but befopre the decision was published by the Coalition of the Willing :

I'm really shocked to hear this about threats against the female CEO of Euroclear, where most of the frozen assets are located. This villain of President of the Russian Federations simply needs to be dragged to behind the shed for a neck shot.

It's EU member countries Czechia, Hungary and Slovakia that have opted out of the loan agreement, by the way.

Kind of the same way a lot of people felt during the prior administration.  Its uncanny that every complaint can be turned around but the complainant is blind to it.

Imagine sitting next to that guy at Christmas dinner? Like looking down at your plate, then looking up, then trying to make conversation but not knowing what to say because he’s clearly mentally off and most likely just defined by his political angst; then just kinda shrug and go “hey, buddy, everything’s gonna be alright”….

Sounds like the average dinner at Mar a Lago.

Ha!  You remember that!  You're Canadian heritage kicking in.

JD Roberts, Erica something or other and one other person (Julie something)...they were the first three VJ's on Muchmusic...which launched before MTV!  Cheers!
