This was reported on widely, from Fox to the NYT.  Very easy to find news reports dated to just after the release.

Youre right!  It was reported that the statement was released...as over inflated and factually incorrect.  And then promptly ignored.  It went nowhere because it was "politically motivated and error ridden".

I haven’t read anything about the Obama stuff, but I also think there should be a full investigation into everything that went on regarding Russiagate, and I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Obama was involved.

I think earlier it(Russia and the entire sabotaging of Trumps first term) was even entirely dismissed as just typical “political gamesmanship” or something. But then they whine about what Trump is doing now and say it’s so much different. It’s a game and “just typical politicking” for them, but now it’s a constitutional crisis?? Nope, it’s all just a game and now they’re butthurt cuz it turns out the game they were playing was checkers….

Yeh, I’ve got no sympathy.  I see all the talking heads moaning about political prosecutions were the same people egging it on when Trump and his circle were hounded for 8 years and dragged through the courts.  The right don’t care what the left think anymore so all this moralising is falling on deaf ears because when the shoe was on the other foot they did it with glee.

Twice in just the last week, federal judges ruled against Trump’s use of the military to crack down on supposed uprisings in Chicago and Portland. And both judges made it clear: whatever Trump is describing, it isn’t reality.

 

Judge April Perry didn’t see it. She said not only was there no rebellion, but the protests were relatively small—about 200 people—and easily handled by local law enforcement. She called the Department of Homeland Security’s version of events “simply unreliable” and “lacking credibility.”

 

In Portland, it was Trump-appointed Judge Karin Immergut who delivered the blow. Trump had claimed Portland was “war ravaged” and “almost an insurrection.” But Immergut’s ruling dismantled that claim point by point.

 

Another Trump-nominated judge, Fernando Rodriguez Jr., ruled the same in May. Trump had blamed the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua for orchestrating an invasion. Rodriguez dismissed the argument. “The Court concludes that they do not fall within the plain, ordinary meaning of ‘invasion’ or ‘predatory incursion,’” he wrote.

After the press conferences end, the congratulations stop and the worlds media go home the question is whether Trump has the focus to underwrite the peace in Gaza/Israel on a daily basis...which is what will be required if this going to last.....I fear (and hope I'm wrong) is that Trump has history of working his butt off to secure the big event, PR or Press Release and lacks the focus, attention to detail and commitment to follow through once the story moves off the front pages.

 

Thats for another day - congrats to President Trump this is a big deal.
