And again, how does renaming the Gulf of Mexico and the Persian Gulf compare to the Biden administration's renaming of many hundreds of sites? And the Left's tearing down of statues?

No comparison. Both Biden and the Left attempted an all out assault on America by trying to destroy any memory of American pride and culture.

Is it really any surprise that post 2020, there was a terrible relationship between Saudi Arabia and Loser Joe Biden?

Joe Biden backed Iran, allowing funding for Iran's proxies, and did everything in his power to alienate Saudi Arabia.

The reason the relation soured was actually due to brutal murder of Khashoggi in Istanbul by MBS henchmen.

From there on, Russia got closer to the Crown Prince, and US got further. Even Trump couldn’t help him at the time. Remember when Putin gave a high five to MBS at a G20 meeting when he was out of favour for everyone.

In Riyadh, there was a few years, where the ailing King took back the center stage and MBS went into the background.

And then he reemerged when the narrative changed.

In parallel to all this, the Kingdom finances were being hammered due to the price war in early 2020. Suffice to say that they had better things to deal with than buying Lockheed hardware.

PS: I should add that about $45B were invested with Masayoshi Son into the Vision Fund. Let’s just say that those became largely illiquid asset after that. I am sure they got their principal back + the coupons, but over the life of the fund. No way they could have use that to fund their commitment to US on purchasing military hardware.

You don't believe Saudis know the Gulf (and the Gulf War) as something different than how Western newspapers, media outlets, and Wikipedia refer to it??

Liberation of Kuwait (Arabic: تحرير الكويت) (taḥrīr al-kuwayt) is the term used by Kuwait and most of the coalition's Arab states, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.

And again, how does renaming the Gulf of Mexico and the Persian Gulf compare to the Biden administration's renaming of many hundreds of sites? And the Left's tearing down of statues?

I wasn't going to respond to your false equivalency but since you bring it up again, the legacy of slavery. Who knew this history could get scrubbed from your memory so quickly?

No need to hide their glee. Agent Orange remains blissfully unaware he's nothing more than a useful idiot.

You'll not get to Year Zero arguing that.

Brain rot is a real problem. Whoever coined the phrase "Trump derangement syndrome" got it backwards.

Is wild to me that people think that

1) erecting statues to traitors and those who lost their war is ok

2) and that their removal is erasing "history and culture"

I don't know if I can think of another example of the losers of a war being so venerated -especially when they were so clearly on the wrong side of history with their stance.

💯 Maybe we should erect some statues of the brave British soldiers who fought us in the Revolutionary War. Wouldn’t want to forget our history! 🤣

In the south a lot of civil war statues were erected decades after the war ended in the Jim Crow era.  Interestingly my county, Davidson County NC, was extensively written about as being well known for its war resistance and for and its "bushwhackers" (resistors).  Further, when the local historical society made a movie some 30 years ago they concocted a scene where an ancestor (and his son) of mine - Felix Miller - was leaving his white column mansion in full dress with supposed full macho belief to go off to the war.  Truth was Duke Energy had recently called members of my family offering to sell us the home in which he lived which was on their land, a 1 and 1/2 story log home with a dirt floor.  About that same time the letters that Felix and his son wrote home during the civil war were discovered in the house, all of which later became treasured local historical documents. The letters described both the hate and horror Felix Miller and his son had for the war, topped off with detailed "hero" descriptions of how they both died...dysentery.  That's how most died during the civil war.

Doesn't stop the civil war fantasies today though.  The local statues did get moved, now they reside out out the southern part of the county...the very well known center of the civil war bushwhackers!

This guy definitely deserves a memorial statue.

Just gonna leave this here.

Alt-righties will blow this off the same way they ignore the negative effects of racism on the prosperity of black people in America. On another note, I've never understood why white supremacists hate brown people but love going to the beach for a tan. The mental gymnastics must be exhausting.

I regretted that post and deleted it. You were too quick lol.  He died tragically.  Do you also think the greater per capita deaths of blacks in Jamaica at the hands of police are also racially motivated.

You're a gentleman and a scholar. I'll delete the quote in my response too.

I have no idea on the Jamaica thing. This clip pretty much sums it up for me. The link is cued to the spot I'm talking about. The rest of this monologue is on point as well.

Cue outraged posts by alt-whities...

Statues of Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt have been removed and schools named after them changed.

Oh yeah, the woke idiots removed anti-slavery statues all over the country. Most of the anarchists were dumb as rocks.

They showed their hate for America, just the same as today, where they show their hatred for American Jews day after day.

Yeah, Black-Lives-Matter really LOVED George Floyd so much that they raised nearly $100M from suckers that allowed Patrice Colliers and her Commie crowd to buy themselves beautiful houses in all white Southern California neighborhoods like Topanga Canyon.

The best part about it:  The family of George Floyd did not receive a dollar.

@Dalal.Holdings from what I recall, you are one of the originals that had got banned for being inflammatory, is that right?

The author of the article quoted by you is from Karachi, Pakistan.

Most of the western media coverage on this has been from Muslim names and blatantly biased as anti-Indian.

Not every Pakistani could join their military or one of their numerous world-famous institutions of terrorism. A large number of them , however, can still make their holy contribution by joining one of the western media corporations.

Yes, I was banned, but your posts on here that besmirch an entire nation of people is totally kosher.

If you want to believe no Rafales were lost, you can continue doing so. I hope you don’t invest in the same way for your own sake

So are we going to exhume 150 years of war hero’s from Arlington cemetery and give the land back to general Lee’s descendants then?
