Thanks.  Although anti-Islam is most definitely not far-right, there are plenty of commentators left and right who dislike it.  I also don’t think ethnic Nationalism is necessarily racist. However all that other stuff seems pretty horrible.

Have made some nice returns on a basket of stocks that got beat up post-liberation day......PDD and other China-cos.....at the time the market was overly pessimistic what was likely to happen....returns have been spectacular relative to whats actually happened.....what I would say now is the market is too optimistic for a Trump/China pivot...and is underestimating the chance we get a damaging elongated standoff as Xi I think decides to create the right dynamic to open discussions with Captain Chaos....i.e. Xi wants to wait till some real Main St. USA level pain is visited on the US economy before even thinking about engaging in a negotiation.......happy to take some profits now and see what happens.

I don’t think it’s anymore complicated than saying it’s ok to move on.  It’s an entirely new generation of Germans, nearly all of which will have precisely zero responsibility for anything that happened in WW2.  Remember sure, but the Germans of today have nothing to be guilty about because they didn’t do it.  Saying this doesn’t make anyone a Nazi or fascist.

Nazis executed dozens of my relatives.  I don't hold modern Germans responsible for this.  If someone advocates mass murder today, certainly that is not acceptable.  However, we cannot hold a nation responsible for what its forefathers did.   Most nations/people did abhorrent things - Mongols, Turks, Arabs & Moslems, Assyrians, Egyptians, Romans, Hungarians, USSR - massacre at Katyn/Creation of North Korea/Mao's mass murder, China - creation of North Korea, Japan - WWII, Ukrainian nationalists over the centuries, Poles, and the list goes on
