We’ll, you have not been investing in 1998-2000 then. Back then, many tech stocks were flying and the rest was getting flayed. What we have now is is exactly the same situation.

One has to be always careful with comparisons, but I think this looks eerily similar we will see an ugly bear market for stock market indices especially the QQQ at some point.

Yahoo acquired Broadcast.com in 1999 for $5.7Bil, cuz da future was streaming video and audio! https://www.internetnews.com/it-management/yahoo-acquires-broadcast-com-for-5-7-billion/

And it only took 20+ years for a few companies to finally produce some profits...

Adding to AJG. My bro at Everest has a lot of respect for them and thinks they are ahead of the competition on AI and automation for claims processing. Feels like GARP to me.  I hate falling knives but let's see if $240 is a decent entry.

Added to ZTS. The market hates it currently, but is still a quality compounder with strong future prospects.

2025 EPS guidance is $6.3-6.4 range, which is around 19 PE at current prices , FCF yield is around 3.7%.

Sold some CPNG puts and picked up a few shares with the proceeds.

By tomorrow some of the VG puts I sold will expire and I will have a few hundred more shares of that one too, which I'm okay with at these prices. Sold 1170 shares on Oct 1 at $14.55 so getting to buy them back at $8 (put price) or $7.70 market price doesn't feel like a tragedy 🤣

CSU/TOI

Earnings tomorrow though so maybe cheaper after.

There seems to be no marginal buyer. 36% drawdown on CSU, biggest in history, let see if it hits 50%! Very attractive unless the compounding machine is broken of course.

I bet you get some more insiders stepping in after earnings.

Yep - fairly unchartered territory, so as you say, either a 'generational opportunity' (I mean, not seriously, but you know what I mean) or the compounding machine is broken.

I don't know, but feel like the ship has been built pretty durably.

(though I am a biased holder...)
