I agree with Comcast and think a position consisting of 80% Comcast 20% charter would outperform a lot of other options.

Why?  Negative volumes, horrible capital allocation, pricing pressures.

My cash level is increasing dramatically.  That means, within my circle of competence, I'm not finding much.

Doesn't mean there will be a big correction in 2026, but when this happens, something usually gives and I get a chance to deploy the cash.

So, I'll say it now...cash is king in 2026!

Cheers!

If I had to choose a couple, I'd go for Coupang, Meli, Joe, BLDR, Exor, Nintendo, Adobe. But I trust all of them to create value over the coming years, regardless of market movements.

I'd prefer if they remained low and also view holding cash as very valuable now. While many businesses seem reasonably valued, I believe people have forgotten a bit how cheap stocks can (often only briefly) become at times of stress or uncertainty.

Best investment for 2026 is to short Palantir and Tesla first trading day of the year and close the Position on last trading day of 2026.

I forgot to include cash also...The index seem to have topped ...Needs a healthy pull back of 10% to get buyers back...this means other stocks could be lower lol

This is one of my favorite threads of the year.  I picked board favorite JOE in 2025.  Up a nice 36.5% YTD not including dividends.  I'm not going to pick JOE in '26 but hope it continues to perform well for many years.

For 2026 I am going to go with $FOUR, $PX and $MAKOF.  FOUR and PX have had terrible 2025s and I'm looking for a bargain.  MAKOF has had a tremendous 2025 on the back of big gains in the price of gold.  Should still be a lot of room for the stock to have a good 2026 if they can execute on their new mines and the price of gold remains at current pricing.

Agree, sadly.  Haven’t bought anything for coming on 8 months.

Where and why and which type?  Thank you.

As always income-generating, strategically located property in proximity to development.  Don't have to look far these days.

NVO: have a bunch of approvals that may provide some torque to the price (CagriSema, Oral Wegovy, High dose injectable Wegovy).

Puts on some of these crazy tech stocks/NASDAQ. For the second, I would not use more than a tiny portfolio allocation.

hmm. hard to say what will work in a single year but here are my top holdings right now. may change my mind on a dime.

ZEG - upside is now lower, but dividend = to 50% of my cost basis in Jan will be nice. Still see a path towards telefonica buyout but not at a huge premium to current px.

FFH - everyone knows it

DOM:L - After nibbling on the australian business bottom out and having it bounce 50% from the lows i feel a little stupid not allocating more there than here. and now i'm kind of just sitting around here waiting. I know its a good business but there are a number of headwinds and forced errors by recently departed CEO to factor in. At these prices i wouldn't be surprised if PE is looking, or at least they should be.

GTX - nice the price has gone up but not nice in that buybacks are less impactful. 12% FCF yield now.

TIC - solid business, big merger they are digesting, i like the people involved. Likely to see margin improvement over time and multiple expansion as the business performs and becomes better understood (similar to APG).

TBBB - i think this will be a fantastic compounder over the next 10 years. Business model and execution are very good. valuation is of course high and there will be pullbacks but i want to own this business for the long term.

constantly on the search for a fat mispricings (a la ZEG) and continue to expand the circle of competence for high quality businesses.
