Well you could start by actively calling for release of the files and proof of innocence or guilt instead of defending every action to not release.  You could call your congressperson and Senator to ask them to support the release of the files.  The more the groundswell of support for the release rises and the defense of it gets harder and harder, the more politicians will choose self survival and support the release. As we get closer to midterms and these congresspeople understand that this is an albatross to their re-election the more the truth comes out. 

 

But even if you actively do nothing, continuing to deny allegations and support potential pedophilia regardless of your policy views is wrong and character destroying.

Thank you, these are good examples of action people can take. You could also make awareness in your neighborhood, talk with neighbors and friends, support new political movements that have more respectable leaders, there are many opportunities to work towards change, as difficult it may seem. I am observing the situation from europe and it deeply worries me to see these people in the government, there are so many highly educated, well meaning, well-mannered women and men that could do a better job and be a better example for our children.

That's a great suggestion!  I talk to people all the time to let them know what a fantastic time this is with Biden/Harris given the boot - and Trump in charge.

 

It is indeed wonderful.

 

I wish the best for Europe that a populist takes control instead of the elites that ignore the average European citizen. Nothing like jailing your citizens for tweets!

I might actually agree with the first part of your post. The second part of your post is delusional and/or uninformed.

If you are not concerned about random masked and armed troops patrolling the city streets, seizing citizens without warrants nor habeas corpus and then deporting them without trial to some random foreign country, then you might remember these words:

Facism creeps in slowly, via the Universities before polluting all of our institutions.

While parents are busy making a living, these insidious movements are underway for years before the parents notice. 

 

It's called "The long march through the institutions" where they walk right in the front door and take them over.

We are trying to rid ourselves of this cancer in the USA - and I hope Canada and Europe the best in making the right decision for themselves.

 

Facism and their offspring (DEI, CRT) will destroy what makes America the land of opportunity. It's definitely dying now here.

I will leave it to others with greater legal knowledge, but my understanding is that one issue is that much of the evidence gathered in such a large investigation doesn't meet the necessary legal standard, whether because it’s incomplete, circumstantial, or otherwise insufficient.  Making such details public would unfairly tarnish the reputations of individuals who may not have been involved in criminal activity.  It could lead to defamation, legal challenges, or even complicate future prosecutions.

That would have been true under Garland as well.

 

The determination to release is at the discretion of the AG (who is Trumps puppet). Trump campaigned on the promise to release the files and now is doing everything in his power to prevent it. Wonder why....
