You may be correct Greg, but c'mon, even you have to admit the sales/grift under the Trump administration has only been seen in the likes of Russia or some banana republic.  The amount of shit he's shilling, or his company is, or his family is, or his associates are, or his friends are...it's like Christmas x 100 for them all.  He's doing the policy changes he promised, but he's making a shit-load of money now and securing future deals that will make his family one of the wealthiest in the U.S. over the next 20 years!  Cheers!

Sure. If you’re going to make the argument…at least be competent. That’s what’s so laughable about some of these dopes. Like claiming they can “spend the money elsewhere” on a theoretical tax cut….of course we re gonna laugh at them. If you wanna make the case Trump is a grifter, there’s soooo many clear examples, @changegonnacome nails those. The shoes, the cell phones, the jpegs and crypto scams….like you can find so many of them using like a quarter of your brain power. Yet you choose Don Jr being asked to the board of a company who’s funding round he lead? Lmfao and then try to make the case it’s comparable to Hunters antics?

The unprecedented grift of the Obama/Biden administration will never be matched. Corruption, payoffs from foreign governments, funneling money to their friends.

But heck, good old Joe conveniently pardoned almost all of them.

I mean really?  How can that not be viewed as anything but racist?  They should have their business license taken away for such stupidity!

Yup, if one of your administration can't prosecute your hit list, find someone who will do it without going through the proper channels!  How long before Bondi steps down like hundreds of others between term 1 and term 2?!

I actually saw a piece about some Vancouver Pol crying in an apology for offending some trans Nucks for “allowing” a Harry Potter event to occur. It was peculiar to say the least.

Yeah but what for... it's all just postering before a negotiation, we have seen his playbook before... why are people still taking this seriously?

Feels like Trump has a couple of friends with puts about to expire soon. 🙂

Maybe. Feels like it’s getting worse. Golds at 4K. Fed is owned by Trump now and is cutting into inflation. Civil unrest is increasing. Trump is ramping up pay-back prosecutions and everything is at an all time high valuation. What could go wrong?

By the way I begrudgingly voted for Trump the past 2 elections so no TDS here.

Bull...it's like comparing pennies to millions...Hunter Biden (who I thoroughly dislike and think should have been disowned and in jail) is like the local crack dealer compared to the Trump mafia family that now has its hands in virtually every area of commerce.  You guys are as bad as the leftist extremists...you turn a blind eye to the most open and blatant affronts to humanity!  Cheers!

Nah. When have I condoned or turned a blind eye? I just listed a half dozen Trump family grifts. I’ve long stated politicians shouldn’t be allowed to own stocks or benefit from being in office financially. I believe when Biden was in office, many of these same people always referred to something like “Hunter isn’t in office” or some crap like that….of course now that Dons in there he’s going to supersize his grift like he does with everything he touches…and that’s what’s ironic, people make claims, like you just did, that when it happened prior it was peanuts but now we need to care….that is what’s BS. That’s the attitude that enabled most of this.

In relation to the topic of the day, someone ignorantly took a bunch of fool journalists from the WSJ seriously and believed that enrichment was occurring because a company retained CF for an IPO, and because Don Jr was granted a board seat after leading a funding round….thats spit your drink out laughable. Up there with “spending the money elsewhere” when talking about tax abatements…just kind of mind blowing on a very basic level. That’s all

Of course he doesn't !  His name is Trump.

Why not just give it to Obama again?   LOL

Is there actually a deal? I see a vague announcement and a ceasefire plan. We’ll if the hostages do get exchanged, that’s a success but it’s far from peace deal.

Unfortunately, even if there is a deal, I think there is going to be another war, and much bloodier than this one in a few years, I'd say in a decade.

It never changes, Trump always drags people ordinarily sane into his abyss.  While I don't get it I must face the truth that there is something in his being and delivery that completely engulfs the souls of many.

As I have written, those who lust after this man grossly over-believe in his ability to fix.  Those who despise this man grossly over-believe in his ability to fix.

Trump is a snowball of gaslighting, a stumbling low ability impulsive man envious of success but only capable of convincing others that he's empowering them.  He is the perfect bezel, Munger's term where someone's stolen from you...but you not knowing makes you and the thief go smiling along feeling richer.

There is nothing here about politics, it is about an individual.  The big question for me is much like that I felt in the late 1990's and early 2000's:  What is the damage going to be?  I was out and about telling all to sell banks in the early 2000's, obviously little ole me, a screaming idiot as to the real setting.

My view is Trump will do Trump, he'll mess with it till it breaks.  What is the outcome other than he gets the prize?

The casino...that's where it goes.  In the meantime, let's just all feel empowered: Trump's taking from them and giving to us...right?

Yes, it's rather sad that Trump can turn otherwise intelligent people into manic psychoanalysts.  Where were you all during the prior Administration?

These same people had meltdowns over the fact that Obama wore a tan suit once and ranted about it for days. If anything they are the ones with Obama Derangement Syndrome and still haven’t gotten over it. Wonder what’s unique about Obama that caused this?

Ah yes, even good old @Parsad and our buddy @changegonnacome can rightly recognize monumental events when they occur. Pillars of reasonableness.

Others will never get out of their own way - even if the guy cures cancer.

Mike [ @cubsfan ],

Are you by 'monumental events' above referring to a peace / peace deal in the Israel / Gaza / Hamas conflict by now?

John, I think that all it requires is a two column approach.  One column is for "wins/pros" and the other column is "losses/cons".  Clearly the "losses/cons" column is not empty.  But the "wins/pros" column outweighs the "losses/cons in both volume and magnitude.

I share your concern. At what level Hamas is disarmed will be very tricky.

And this is appears to be the first move to a potential 2 state solution.

10 years out - enter in another disastrous Biden/Obama administration - supremely anti-Israel - another war entirely possible.

Tough stuff these cease-fire/peace agreements. Ethnic Hatred rarely subsides.

If the Gazans see a better life - chance for lasting peace go way up.

At least we have a cease-fire with a chance for peace - and a destroyed Iran nuke program for their neighbors.  Great stuff.

MMW, he will soon announce a casino being built on the White House lawn.

Spoiler alert: It'll operate at a loss and will have a 24 hour drive thru laundromat on premises.
