  1. Old enough to remember the viciousness of the OG politics board that separated the men from the boys. Honestly I loved the old school style where we d rip each others throats out and then in the other threads have the proverbial round of shots at the bar together….
  2. Ha, love ya @LC
  3. At least one of us gets it and is flourishing
  4. lol yes I read a lot guilty as changed. You’re also correct, you quote @73 Reds and I probably more than any other posters here but never address us… Looking forward to your crying tomorrow about how you don’t understand everything and feel owed an explanation. And how you need everyone to explain the latest Times opinion piece on Trump to you. Good luck with it all.
  5. LOL except you fabricate half this stuff, have been told the answers to the other stuff, and then tomorrow show up as if you just came out of a coma, stating the same stuff you did the day before. And then of course you think getting all emotional about this stuff has any bearing on the outcome. I mean like it's so pathetic but again also funny. Around the election I clearly said policy drove voting decisions, but also that I DIDNT EVEN VOTE this past election; I was busy. I dont care too much for tariffs Ive said, but it's clear Trump thinks this will drive 1) revenue and 2) give negotiating leverage. Ive long been critical of many of these stupid monthly government data dumps like BLS and CPI...this goes without saying. And basically every day since, especially since Liberation Day, you -loudly moan about "how could you guys support him"...answers already given to you, -you voted for...when already told, nope on the vote.... -continuously moan about tariffs...when ...look above at both personal opinion and also statement of tariffs=revenue and/or leverage -you keep claiming "support firing BLS people"...when already told...nope, I dont care either way And that's just it...between all this bullshit and the constant doomsday predictions that never pan out, then of course the folks whom also fall hook, line and sinker for the latest NYT/Guardian/whatever piece and then rush here foaming at the mouth demanding we read it and give opinions on it...LOL...like what freaking world are you guys living in and whats wrong with you? Why the need to constantly lie just like the guy you claim to hate? The need to constantly misrepresent rather obvious things, just like the guy you hate? How many people need to come out and explain "these policies drive my decision and based on 2 candidates this is how I chose" only for you numbnuts to show up the next day ranting about "how do they support (insert some random flavor of the day topic you're hung up on that most likely said people dont care or have an opinion about)"....right? Epstein..you literally never had one concern when your guys were in office. You probably supported Clinton despite the known involvement...no issue there. But only til it became a TDS issue, did you start foaming about it. I really haven't ever found it interesting. Haven't talked much about it. Got better shit to focus on, and yea...dudes dead. Then you get brainwashed once the TDS takes over...and blasting all over "how do Trump supporters support a pedo" or "why are Trump supporters hiding from this"...and again...its like dude, Ive never really wasted much time on this, youre the one who's obsessed, youre the one who apparently thinks his obsessing is gonna change something...how in the world dont you see that youre the dude who's got the issues? And making things up, lying and projecting all this shit on others doesnt actually mean anything in the real world....
  6. Why am I beholden to answering a question or reading a suggested article every time one of you guys has your Trump breakdown? Especially given the history of literally falling for every single stupid media piece? Awesome. Didn't read it but Im sure it enriched your life. Yes, pure entertainment value. I cant imagine being so distressed over something so inconsequential that I ultimately have zero control over. Or folks whom have such an abysmal track record in terms of predictions just continuing to make new ones with zero awareness of how bad that track record is and continues to get. But to each their own.
  7. Ive never argued that. I have no opinion on the firing of the head of an agency I have no use for and one that as a taxpayer, Id prefer my money not be wasted on. It's as simple as that.
  8. LOL 100%. I really dont get it. Their lives are so wrapped up in stupid hearsay and gossip level nonsense like "finding the revenue from tariffs related to fentayl" and "reading his mind" or "predicting the mental state"....get a life folks. Maybe one day they'll find some smoking gun and it probably still won't matter cuz some random dude aint moving any needles in the Oval Office lol. Like what do they think the payoff is from the obviously countless hours/day/weeks/years they wasted obsessing over Trump? Theyre just sore losers. But hopefully one day they find what theyre looking for so they can stop bothering everyone with the pop quizzes and stupid questionnaires....
  9. I dont spend very much time reading gossip about other men or women. What did you get out of reading it and how does that impact your life? None of this has a bearing on mine. Shit's great, no distress, whining or moaning about what evils are about to unfold even though like 94% of predicted evils so far haven't unfolded....just better things to do with my life.
  10. LOL it's like every other day you say this even though you were told many times, every other day, for like the first few months.
  11. Nah. I think it's been stated a gazillion times already, which again is why it's become futile even debating some of this....it's solely about policy for many, at least the people I know. A doorknob whom is pro business, pro law enforcement, willing to lower taxes and make government smaller...would win an election. So when all the usuals then turn around and go "what do you think about Trump... this and that"....I could care less. That's why, to a degree, it doesnt matter what he does, because the question is, what is the alternative? Harris? LMFAO If one voted for Biden or Harris, I'd be just as happy tipping my hat if they confirmed it was because they approved of their policies. They are entitled to that. Except most of the rhetoric isn't that. Its just some deranged iteration of "I hate Trump".
  12. This is only true if you believe Bidens supporters are that stupid. He was very clearly both physically and cognitively impaired from pretty much the get go. None of the inquisitive minds we are hearing from now wondered why he statistically stood out like a sore thumb from Inauguration Day on regarding the style and frequency of his media appearances? The effort to “only photograph with aviators on so he looked cooler”…the frequent stumbles both physical and verbal? The majority just hated Trump so much they didn’t care.
  13. Nope. It's actually the gold standard and "the best we have" and we are obliged to respond every single time one of the TDS people takes the bait.....it does get tiring....whew!
  14. Surely. Any modestly, let alone highly paid attorney outfit is tasked with following daily events and manufacturing as many "cover thy ass" bullet points for the next Q's report, as humanly possible. It's just standard operating procedure for public companies. The main reason being, is that theres multiples of their peers, often lower quality and far hungrier ones, that are just waiting for the opportunity to use said daily news events, as a justification to launch highly lucrative class action lawsuits on behalf of shareholders whom were "mislead" or "harmed" by apparently not knowing or being warned of said "risks".... So again, while Im sure some want to believe that everything in the world and everyone in it have big daddy Trump on their mind at all times, I'd challenge that mainly, public companies and their legal advisors, do public company things, namely obsess over disclosing "risks"(AKA future liability mitigation), with this being more of that, than Buffett himself sending the loyal soldiers smoke signals from Omaha or whatever. Frankly, I'd be surprised if Buffett even had much to do with writing this.
  15. Well, if anyone is familiar with how large public companies(and even small ones) and their legal teams produce the "risk factors" section of a Q or a K, this should be seen as pretty standard and unspectacular....however, through a different set of colored glasses....oh let the mind run free LOL
  16. LOL all of these things have been explained to you many times. Just like how on liberation day you were told very clearly, “this is a negotiation and just the opening act, no need to panic”…and you and others kept crying about not understanding things and how we were headed for the end of the world, and how panicking first pays off, and how Trump was lying because he didn’t tell everyone in the world exactly what he was doing, step by step. This is one of many reasons there’s no point discussing anything Trump related with many of you.
  17. It’s just another classic waste product of the government, overrun by inefficiencies and errors that would never fly in the private sector…enabled by sympathizers whom are OK pissing away tax payer funds on “its the best we have” junk. If the best we have is pretty useless…get rid of it. I’ve never once placed any weight whatsoever on the BLS data. Like I honestly don’t think there’s been even one instance where it came into play with respect to my investment process or decision making.
  18. Again you’re lying because many have have engaged with me on the shittiness of the jobs reports over many years. Once again, your TDS impairs the ability to converse so no point. Next.
  19. Sorry, but can’t talk about Trump with you.
  20. No, I’ve been saying it for years. edit: I pretty sure you, but I know for sure a bunch of the usual TDs lib defending regulars, got all hot and bothered when I brought up the absolute absurdity of a 800k revision under Biden…these administrative folks are retards.
  21. lol you guys are shot. The BLS reporting has been horrifically inaccurate for years and multiple presidencies…. But hey I love supposed fundamental investing where we go “hey look at the daily stock price movement” and pretend there is significance to it….nice evolution of the cobf mindset!
  22. Change has cleverly created this world where no matter what happens with tariffs, Russia or Maxwell, he's got some gloriously bad narrative behind it all for Trump. There's just simply no other alternatives lol
  23. This afternoon I was day dreaming and coulda sworn @Blake Hampton rode in on a Harley to share the news that Jamie Dimon, one of his favorite soundbyte sources, recently endorsed stablecoins, stating he “believed” in them.
  24. Seeing first hand, 1 illegal probably does the work of 3-4 pleasantly plump patrons of proper documentation.
  25. You know, I honestly hadn’t considered that but it’s definitely something worth chewing on.
