Valuebo Posted Wednesday at 02:27 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:27 PM More Terravest and new (well I had before but I reopened) Nintendo and Copart positions. First one 1% of NW, others 0.3-0.4% so obv looking to increase. All with CPNG profits, selling some short term calls into this strength.
Lance Posted Wednesday at 07:19 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:19 PM BG, BOLSY, ICE and MIAX Wrote puts on CPB Thanks Lance
WayWardCloud Posted Wednesday at 08:22 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:22 PM I added a bit to Microsoft today. 4.1%>5.5% of net worth. Looking at Netflix, SalesForce, Adobe... Scary times but lots of opportunities too!
thowed Posted Wednesday at 09:39 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:39 PM More MIAX. Stinging a bit, but feels ridiculous over-reaction to Perps (I'm guessing it's that) which are a different game. Only thing that nags a little is the court case, but my guess is they'll settle, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Red Lion Posted Thursday at 04:53 PM Posted Thursday at 04:53 PM More than doubled my new ADBE position.
EgonKuhn Posted Thursday at 08:26 PM Posted Thursday at 08:26 PM New starter position in SAP.DE (SAP SE)
WayWardCloud Posted Thursday at 08:27 PM Posted Thursday at 08:27 PM Starter positions in SalesForce and Adobe.

Spekulatius Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Bought a little CME and some $6758 (Sony). All the exchanges are getting hammered on the new perpetual futures exchanges presumably. Those to me look like modern day bucket shops.

Mephistopheles Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Over the last couple weeks sold a bunch of Dec. 2028 BRK puts ATM and slightly out of the money. $35-$40 at strikes between $460-480 Edited 10 hours ago by Mephistopheles
Spekulatius Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Added to BOLSAA and PRX (Prosus) on this quiet day.
gfp Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Unusual dump at the close in Canada today on both FIH.U and FFH - got filled on several orders near the close. What a weird finish to an otherwise very slow day with US markets closed. Fairfax India went from 17.90 to 17 in a few minutes

If US markets are closed you can pretty much bet that some weird things happen in other markets that are open. I had for example an order open for more Prosus (PRX) for 38.41 that got filled for 38.215 which also happened to be the low in IBKR today. Small potatoes but good stuff . I think the liquidity totally sucks on days like this and if some ETF rebalance or something similar at the end of the day, they just take whatever they get. It’s OPM, who cares, right? But its still cheap and the EPS will expand this year because the USD weakness has hidden some of the operational power (25% operating income growth this year). And 10-20% growth with a 3.4% dividend yield is always nice to have. Theres a thread about it.
