You also need to add in all the family deals around the world and the crypto scams and the pay for pardon deals etc. Probably multiple times more than all of the congress corruption over the last couple of decades. I think you’re comparing Trump’s $2.2 billion of income in 2025 to the volume of trades made by all the traders in Congress, totalling $665 million? Probably not apples to apples. Highly unlikely that the congressional trades resulted in the same volume of profit on those trades. If they made 20% profit on their trades, that would be $130 million. Trump’s grift alone is more than 15 times that.
Sloanes Teddy Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago i was being conservative. do not want anyone to accuse me of exaggerating the president's graft:)

Antifa literally Means Anti fascist which to my knowledge not illegal. It’s not an “organization” either. There is no Antifa leadership. It’s a loose term for left organization and typically small groups that have little if any coordination that range from those who do throw Molotov cocktails to college student groups who demonstrate on the college grounds. How this is designated a terrorist organizations shows how far we have drifted off to authoritarian side here. Declaring an organization a terrorist organization based on nebulous associations is done by intent to scare people and now creates the perception of an enemy within - a very old autocratic scare tactic. Say what you will about free speech in Europe, but I don’t think this would be possible. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/09/designating-antifa-as-a-domestic-terrorist-organization/ Antifa is not real. Highly questionable judgement and most of the sentence was because they were accused of being member of a terrorist organization which furthers my is why Antifa was designated as such with. The explosive mentioned were no more than fireworks. There was one shooter in this group who got 100 years for attempted murder. By the same token, you could easily designate all the products boys and similar groups as terrorist and jail them for 50 years each doing doing riots. Edited 14 hours ago by Spekulatius
adesigar Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Actually I remember something called the Jan 6th insurrection. https://www.reuters.com/pictures/harrowing-scenes-jan-6-us-capitol-attack-four-years-ago-2025-01-06/54EOIAWCWBMJTANZY54FA33FKU/ 1200 years in prison and that’s not even the final tally.

They shot an ICE officer in the neck, he's lucky to be alive. All those onsite were armed. They brought 11 guns with them. They were wearing body armor. They shot an ICE officer, and when he returned fire - and disabled the shooter's automatic weapon, they fled. I guess they thought that their Signal chats would protect them. They turned on each other like rats and disclosed the whole Antifa conspiracy. I just love how you make excuses for them.

The MAGA faithful won't care...$1M, $1B...as long as he's implementing his/their agenda, they don't give two shits. It's additional zeroes for heroes! And John McCain...war hero, honest man, no graft, tried to do what was right regardless of party...LOSER, got caught, LOSER! Very sad when you think about what is celebrated and what isn't any more. Cheers!

There was only one shooter. The accused and convicted brought body armor, but did not wear it. Owning body armor is not illegal. I do not defend the shooter and he deserves a deft prison sentence but let face it, if those were right radicals, they would not been been accused of aiding terrorists which is why most for 50 years.

Hey, these were peaceful protestors just like the Insurre...I mean protestors peacefully visiting the Capitol! The President should pardon all of them too. Cheers!

Truth is, those guys and the Insurrectionists should all have been sentenced to prison. None of them were peaceful protestors and this whole thing is just one big partisan fuck up by an extremely partial President. If Trump had an honest bone in his body and really wanted to do what was right for Americans, the sentenced insurrectionists would never have been pardoned! And same with the Antifa shitheads as well. Cheers!

Why did the group bring 11 guns and body armor to an ICE facility? Oh, yeah, they never intended to use them...sure Spek. Too bad they couldn't erase their Signal chat logs. Oh well.

The issue is perfectly clear to me, that Trump is going to be able to do anything he wants as long as the economy and bull market sustain. We all know that both above are independent of politics, yet the popularity of politicians is dependent on such. If we had a declining market and economy I'm not so sure we wouldn't have our supreme leader hanging upside down by his tied up swollen legs by now. Wiser more stable true conservatives probably are sitting back thinking Trump is a relatively small time swindler that it is best to let him take-in a few billion doing scams; that this keeps out the liberals, it is a cost of doing business.

Maybe. Do you attribute any of the economy/stock market heights to Trump? Like you, the issue is perfectly clear to me: Trump is an optimist. His opponents are not. I prefer an optimist.

There's nothing wrong with going full bonkers far right with Gregmal, it isn't something I enjoy reading but it is a guy being honest with himself and others. Again, my bias and filter, but it is what it is. I give Trump no credit for the market or economy. Generally he significantly harms the entities he's involved with AS IT/THEY relate to others involved - while making good for himself. For the US? Yes, I think he does the same.
