Read the 14-point text John, your guess is as good as mine. People who make assumptions are only arguing their "book" or bias. Likewise, media jumps to conclusions because that is what they do.
cubsfan Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago You got it right @John Hjorth According to our buddies on CoBF, the $300B will be handed over by all of Iran's mortal enemies, just so Iran can rebuild their nukes and military - then Iran can start attacking their neighbors again. The brain trust on CoBF strikes again.

To me, that's a weird and questional public communication strategy about the MOU.

Some other facts: - Iran is bankrupt...essentially has been for over a decade - Iran's military is destroyed, but not their drones and soldiers - IRGC leadership, only half dead - Iran has no friends in the Gulf, except the United States - Finally, the US Military can do anything they wish to Iran for the next several years...but they won't because they need the SOH open When one understands that - Iran should be delighted. Especially with $25B of sanctioned assets returned and $300B in reparation funds! Art of the Deal! Art of the Deal! Buckeye Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) I seem to recall someone posting here recently about their concern for the US’s dwindling munitions. This poster was quickly admonished and ridiculed by the local Politics Thread experts/trolls/TWS’s for having this viewpoint. Welp…turns out Trumpy has the same concerns! Huh, that’s weird! I guess Trump will now be ridiculed as well as he has the same viewpoint. Trump must have a case of TDS? Have we heard that argument yet? Trump Invokes Cold War-Era Law to Boost Munitions Production https://www.wsj.com/politics/national-security/trump-invokes-cold-war-era-law-to-boost-munitions-production-74a0f37c “I hereby find that conditions exist which may pose a direct threat to the national defense or its preparedness programs,” Trump wrote in a June 11 memo to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Trump cited “limited production capacity, fragile supply chains, long-lead dependencies, and related production bottlenecks.” Edited 12 hours ago by Buckeye

LC Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Quote 8. The Islamic Republic of Iran reaffirms that it shall not procure or develop nuclear weapons. The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran have agreed to resolve the disposition of stockpiled enriched material pursuant to a mechanism that will be mutually agreed upon in accordance with the schedule mentioned in paragraph seven, with the minimum methodology to be back-blending on site under the supervision of the IAEA. The two parties also agreed to discuss the issue of enrichment and other mutually agreed matters related to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear needs, based on a satisfactory framework being agreed upon in the final deal. The final deal will confirm the provisions of this paragraph. The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran acknowledge the critical importance of the nuclear issues above-mentioned and express their intention to immediately address these issues in the negotiations in order to achieve mutual agreement on them. 9. Pending the final deal, the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran agree to maintain the status quo. The Islamic Republic of Iran will maintain the current status quo of its nuclear program, and the United States of America will not impose any new sanctions and will not deploy additional forces in the region. So long story short is that Iran will continue to promise not to develop nuclear weapons?? The ONE THING that matters, Trump couldn't deliver. God damn it's amazing how this US administration royally fucked this up. What a bunch of losers.

But the lessons already transpire to Europe and the US and likely China as we speak and will be adapted in the respective defense industry and strategy. It has become clear that you can saturate just about any defense system with relative cheap drones.

changegonnacome Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We're dealing with people that I think are very rational people, and they were nice to deal with," Mr. Trump said of Iran's current leadership during an event at the G7 summit in France on Tuesday "They were strong people, smart people. … They're not radicalized and they're looking to help their country." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-goals-iran-war-and-what-hes-saying-now-nuclear-missiles-regime-change/ @cubsfan @73 Reds So Donald says the above...what ya think?....for 40+ years the conventional wisdom on Iran has been that they are ideological nut jobs, irrational and a suicidal death cult who dont care about their own people. Now they are rational, nice, not radicalized and just want to help the people in their country! You guys wanted Trump to shake things up.....he most certainly has re: Iran/US/Israel relations if this is the new party line!

It's Putin, who's refusing to come to the table. Moscow refinery attack was pay-back time for Russia hitting historical monastery in Kyiv a few days ago. Ukraine, please carry on. Next thing is likely POTUS negotiating a MOU with Putin related to the Russian-Ukrainian war without involving Ukraine and Europe, where POTUS accepts that Ukranie and its European supporters shall pay Russia USD 600 billion in war damages, and when Ukraine and European supporters says no, POTUS throws himself on the floor in a hysterical tantrum. There are rumors among observers of what's going on in Russia, that Elvira Nabiullina now hasen't been seen around for a while [is she removed, terminated?], and that Putins paranoia is progressing.
