Welp, looks like Trump loves the inflation, so I assume all of his supporters now love inflation.  Won’t be long before they’re wearing “I ❤️ Inflation” t-shirts.

Even though we all know it’s not really “inflation” it’s just “higher prices.” 😆😅🙃

Have to disagree.  If this is what is to be signed by the parties, it won't last.  But no terms will last with present Iranian leadership.  IMO Trump understands that but needs to sign something for any chance of a fruitful last 2 years.  Sure wish that politics did not always get in the way of good policy.

For sure!!

We all know that kid's list is a joke.

The only reason the IRGC is talking is because of Trump's "encouragement".

Yeah; the only thing they understand is force.  Trump will have to sign something before the midterms for domestic appeasement.  It won't be pretty.

I can't see any way Trump would agree to anything even resembling that as it would be a total loss for the US.

Which of those terms do you think is in the USA's favour, making it a good deal? The opening of the Strait?

Are you saying that the situation for the USA has becomes so bad that Trump had to be extremely skilled at negotiation to get a deal that's substantively worse than what they had before they attacked months ago?  Because to me, that's what it sounds like you're saying.

How many times have you posted the terms of a deal only to have it proven wrong - largely because there is no deal.

Even this one buries the key fact that its not a deal at all, its the concept of a deal with 60 day negotiation to a final deal.

And even if there's a deal, what is a deal negotiated by Trump - famous for ripping up the very deals he supposedly negotiated recently - even worth?

Yeah, I'm sorry - my sarcasm did not quite work.

The piece of paper that Kid is referring to is worthless.

My take honestly:   Iran is losing $400M per day due to economic blockade.  How long can that continue???   Months??  I kind of doubt it.  Iran is being strangled.  Oil is being shipped out from the UAE and Saudis in midnight voyages.  Venezuela is pumping oil like crazy.  Your oil price was what $110 a few weeks ago, dropping steadily to what?  to $92 and now $78??

Iran's military is destroyed.  They can't pay their military.

Bessent is saying Iran's frozen assets will be confiscated to pay the gulf states back that were attacked - billions in damages. Iran wants every penny they can get because of the blockade.

They won't get that lifeline from Bessent unless there is 100% proof of compliance to US terms.

What is Iran to do? - they are desperate for $$$.

When/if the blockade ends - the price of oil will collapse.

I'm saying that Trump will do a deal on his own terms with SOME grace to the Iranian people who he does not wish to kill.

Personally, I kind of doubt we will get a deal. I think it will take more bombing and economic pain for Iran.

Is the regime done?   Don't really know.

Is Iran done? Yup - they are not negotiating from a position of strength.  The real question is: are they set back only 10 years (now) or for decades is Trump unleashes hell on them.  Their choice.

Key points from the Iranian Foreign Minister’s statement on national TV (Islamabad memorandum)

•  Strait of Hormuz and frozen assets

•  Fees for the Strait: Iran will require payment of fees for ships using the Strait of Hormuz.

•  Lebanon ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal (I cannot wait to see Israel perform the walk of shame back home)

•  Condition for final deal: If these (and other) obligations are not fulfilled, negotiations for a Final Deal will not proceed.

Summary: the following are non negotiable and they won’t discuss a nuclear deal unless the above is met. The others is most interesting as it seems most of the points I mentioned will be covered 🙂 - so far it’s a loss, not confirmed total loss yet!

So this is a wish list, not terms of a deal.  Let alone an actual deal.

Iran FM was reading the details of the MOU.  - Do you find the MOU a wish list?  The plan is officially signing is this Sunday. (Trump/Nethanyahu are chronic liar so let’s see)

Trump only believes in retaliation when he is doing the retaliation and if you mentioned Machiavelli to Trump, he would want to know where he was so he could call DHS to have him deported.

MOU?  Is that like the last MOU?  Or the one before?  Or the one before that?  An MOU that includes the fact that it isn't a deal, it's an agreement to work on a deal?  Seriously?

And all of this with the guy who renegs on every deal he signs?

💯- Iran doesn’t trust him which is why they want 50% of their frozen funds immediately transferred upon signing the MOU. Blockade will also be lifted immediately and they can start charging a fee for ships to cross. This allows Iran to come out of the war stronger than before. (My bet, there will never be a nuclear deal and this ensures it is kicked to the next president) - of course he can always reneg but Iran will shut the SoH again.

The wild card is the genocidal maniac in Israel. The real question, can Trump keep him on a leash?  Iran will attack Israel again if they get out of line by continuing to blanket kill Lebanese civilians. They are just sick individuals.

All of this is hopium.  Trump has claimed a deal is close 39 times now.  So you will forgive me if Im skeptical of both sides.

Instead of pontificating over every word out of their mouths, how bout just ignoring it until its more than words.

It all hinges on the nuclear materials.  If US gets its way there, then it is a win!  If it doesn't, total loss!

We shall see what happens.  Cheers!

Why would anyone give Trump something of permanent value or something that cannot be reversed for a deal with Trump? Trump has renegated on pretty much on everything he said or put his signature on. It’s pretty much his modus operandi and should be know by now. That’s why I don’t think a nuclear deal will happen.

Furthermore, if Iran gets the bomb, they are pretty untouchable. So think they will do everything they can to get there. It’s basically what every nation from Ukraine and North Korea and now Iran.

Everyone needs nukes. ☢️
