I know it’s going to be difficult for some to understand, but when the structures of government are turned into a political weapon against Trump and his friends, you kind of just shrug at ‘no more audit’ stuff.  Improper use of government begets improper use of government.  It’s like the universe balancing itself out.  Democrats can only really call this out when they stop doing it themselves.

Exactly. From the “Russia investigation”, to the chick in NY with the “he grabbed me 50

years ago at Macys” crap, to the NY judges whom claimed tax assessed values of Mar a Lago represented market values, no one’s been screwed more by the weaponization of government than Trump. So….shrug!

Problem is, Democrats never acknowledge that they do it themselves.  Which is why they lost to a guy like Trump and will keep losing b/c the public at large is not as naive as they would have us believe.

Greg, I hate to tell you but...

...your view of Trump and how victimized he's been is a direct result of how successful Trump is of manipulation.  To manipulate Gregmal is a true championship worthy of a few gold statues and building names for sure.

Trump owns this country, he owns the world.  Some feel incredibly empowered by this.  I'm just surprise you are one of them!  Trump inherited $400 mil and the world has been so unfair to this poor little helpless man for more than half a century!

That must be a tasty boot you've got your tongue all over!

So when it's black lives matter and all cops are bad - well those folks just need to FoLlOw tHe LaW!

This might be difficult to understand but there's a reason lady justice is blind.

Greg, think clearly!  If you'd inherited what Trump did?  You'd be worth 100 bil today and you'd have done it without scams...the latest 50 mil inflow on the Trump phone is beyond hilarious by the way.

And while you'd have your full blown far right views my guess is you'd have spent exactly zero time in your life crying like a baby about being mistreated - basically the grievance that has propelled all of Don's successes through the years.

When you can't compete?  Hell, perfect the grievance!  Sell it, sell it hard all day every day for 50 years!

Very interesting to blame Dems for the Russia investigation when it was started by Trump’s AG. But facts shouldn’t get in the way of dogma.

The investigation into the Russia investigation, started by Trump’s second AG, was continued by Biden. Routinely, US Attorneys tend to be political appointees. Biden laid off nearly all of Trump’s US Attorney’s except the one investigating the Mueller investigation. Imagine thinking the Dems (or any other republican in history) are nearly as corrupt?

Agreed that NYC and NYS Trump investigations reek of political motivation.

Still that’s a false equivalency, as is any routine act of corruption by any other politician vs. this blatant theft and free pass to never pay taxes again.

But if the Trump folks shrug off Jan 6, they’ll do so for anything!

We always throw around the word cult, but I’d say my buddy Greg isn’t one of them. Agreed he’s just on the wrong side of this one!

This isn’t really my view as much as it is a recount of what’s happened to a guy whom prior to getting into politics had zero issues related to run ins with law enforcement in his 70 years. Folks wanna understand “why” and “how we got here”, there you go. Trump just does it bigger and better than ever before, now he’s created a trust fund for his friends at the taxpayers expense! Why? Because Democrats chose to abuse the legal system to try to stop him.

I think it’s quite inconvenient for folks, many of which seem very personally invested in the “convicted felon” label, to recall that this label came about from the insistence of Fatty Lateesha and Judge Arthur insisting that Mar A Lago was only worth $18m….

Yep - this was complete lawfare....digging through historical trash to find dirt is the definition of the weaponization of the system against an individual.

But Trump should be thankful for this BS case...why?...because the reality is this bullshit case on top of his other cases became the perfect narrative wrapper that diminished greatly the two criminal cases of merit that pertain to his last few months in office (Jack Smith case) and out of office (refusing to return classified documents for months when requested to).

I can make an argument to say that without the NY case providing the facts that fed his narrative lawafare framework - the other two cases would have been much harder to explain away and may have persuaded more undecided voters that he wasn't quite T2 material. He should thank AG James for being so blinded by political point scoring to bring such a dumb case.

Of course it goes without saying in the other two cases.....that if they we're truly deeply political exercises, being directed by partisan hacks and Joe & Kamala in the WH, the investigations and cases would have been concluded with a guilty verdict on a political timeline i.e. way before the GOP presidential primaries.....they weren't......both cases went on and on at the speed of justice, not at the speed of election politics. Which completely collapses the lawfare theory IMO.

Ironically Trump got saved by the bell and his genius level ability to spin narratives. That ability, btw, is what will hopefully give him the latitude and confidence that he can sell a blunder of epic proportions (Iran) into something approximating a victory. The President has my full support to Trump-ify and 'Big Lie' the Iran boondoggle!

Yup. And that’s what the babies don’t get. All that whining? Wasteful. Save it for something that matters. Instead? You “got him” in NYC and now handed him a justifiable claim to a $2b slush fund. And to think these tools think they’re the ones playing chess! Lmfao

So true.

All these silly cases against Trump were undertaken by crooked and corrupt officials, that's why their cases fell apart faster than a speeding bullet.  They have no one to blame but themselves for such travesties of justice.

Now the shoe is on the other foot. Unfortunately for the anti-trump officials , they look to be in real trouble, as Trump's legal advice has been outstanding.

Time will tell - and you can say all you like about dictator, etc and other bullshit - but the tide has turned both legally and more importantly,  public perception has shifted dramatically about unjust law fare of the last administration.

Payback is a bitch.

It's not an experiment when it is legal.

In most cases, the libtards dug their own graves with lying to congress, manufacturing phony "evidence", and rigging elections.

No one wants to live or operate in a rigged system.

Well I'll agree that no one wants to live or operate in a rigged system. The rest of your defense of this president is just finger-pointing.

I'm quite detached and I think objective and impartial. Trump is a conman. Not sure how anyone could argue otherwise.

I would argue that at least 90% of all politicians are con men.  Hard to succeed in politics if you're genuine.

Who cares? Just look to anticipate where it’s all headed. Skate to where the pucks going. Position yourself to thrive. Let the simps fret over their perceptions of things like honor and decency, which by the way, are all largely just influenced by the information you are selectively fed, not reality.

Yeah, I doubt you are impartial at all. Just admit it - you called the President a conman - so much for being objective.

Trump did not "manufacture" the Russian Hoax - Hillary Clinton did.  Trump did not manufacture the coverup of the hoax - Obama, Comey, Brennan did.

Trump did not rig the results in Fulton County Georgia - Fani Willis and the Biden administration did.  Trump did not contort the law in NYC to turn a misdemeanor booking problem into a full blown felony - Alvin Bragg and Letitia James did.

So much for being objective and detached. You aren't fooling anyone.

You've gone from some fraud and weaponization of government to full out dictatorship with no guard rails really left!  It's like saying don't start a fist fight unless you want to be nuked!  Cheers!

No, you've gone from tit for tat weaponization to simply pure graft.  Have you read the fine print in the tax settlement agreement?  He picks the members of the fund, can dismiss anyone he wants, there is no recourse if the funds are fraudulently used in the future, he has full ability to do what he wants with it.  On top of that, the settlement prevents any investigation of the Trump family or empire...in the past or possibly the future!  What the fuck?!  Cheers!
