This is only true if you believe Bidens supporters are that stupid. He was very clearly both physically and cognitively impaired from pretty much the get go. None of the inquisitive minds we are hearing from now wondered why he statistically stood out like a sore thumb from Inauguration Day on regarding the style and frequency of his media appearances? The effort to “only photograph with aviators on so he looked cooler”…the frequent stumbles both physical and verbal? The majority just hated Trump so much they didn’t care.

Your logic is broken.  Relative to every other president in recent history, both Trump and Biden both have frequent stumbles, both physical and verbal. Yet one was rejected by supporters, and the other is canonized. 

 

That said, I think it's pretty understandable voting for Trump over Harris. It's just that it's clear that it's irrelevant what Trump says, most of his supporters will support him regardless. He's roughly akin to Chavez in Venezuela.

Nah. I think it's been stated a gazillion times already, which again is why it's become futile even debating some of this....it's solely about policy for many, at least the people I know. A doorknob whom is pro business, pro law enforcement, willing to lower taxes and make government smaller...would win an election. So when all the usuals then turn around and go "what do you think about Trump... this and that"....I could care less. That's why, to a degree, it doesnt matter what he does, because the question is, what is the alternative? Harris? LMFAO

 

If one voted for Biden or Harris, I'd be just as happy tipping my hat if they confirmed it was because they approved of their policies. They are entitled to that. Except most of the rhetoric isn't that. Its just some deranged iteration of "I hate Trump".

It seems that some here either missed the point or intentionally ignored it.

 

The point is not what the article said or did not say about Joe Biden, the Pope, Joe Schmo or someone else. To suggest that is can only be regarded as simply deflection and has nothing to do with the point being made in the article.

 

The point is, that Trump's present mental state is, or should be, very concerning to all simply by judging the words that come out of his own mouth. It doesn't make a shit load of difference if they were quoted by FOX, CNN, or the Guardian. Who quoted him has nothing to do with it.

 

If anyone here thinks that these quotes come from a normally functioning individual then they would need some sort of reality check, because they are letting their prejudices in the way of rational thinking.

 

It is not very logical to say that it is okay for the President of the United States to display serious mental issues because some other guy had some too. 

 

 

Furthermore, it is not anyone's opinion that is the concerning part. It is simply Donald Trump's own words and actions that is alarming. If anyone reads Trump's words and see his present state of mind and think that is normal, than

Which is an interesting thing to say, considering at this point it's clear that Trump is a "grow government and increase taxes" sort of guy.  (Just like Harris, LOL.) That's one reason why I say that the supporters will support him regardless of anything.

If it was solely about policy people.could explain the rationale for the tariffs.  Yet I still haven't heard a single plausible one.

 

And if it was solely about policy, people wouldnt be defending the firing of the BLS head for doing her job.

No, I haven't.  Not a single rational response. I think 73 commented that it was the generic "to stop us from getting ripped off" (ie the party line).  Yet nobody could explain how we were getting ripped off (from countries where we had a trade surplus) or how taxing US consumers could address that. 

 

It hasn't been answered. Either here or on TV or anywhere. People make crap up to justify why they think it must be but even the administration cant explain it.

I dont spend very much time reading gossip about other men or women. What did you get out of reading it and how does that impact your life?

 

None of this has a bearing on mine. Shit's great, no distress, whining or moaning about what evils are about to unfold even though like 94% of predicted evils so far haven't unfolded....just better things to do with my life.

Orange Boy looses the markets confidence and he's gone. Just as Biden blew it when evidence of his senility couldn't be hidden anymore, the same will happen to Trump.

 

The Vice's can step in, but it ain't the same thing. Like it or not, Tump is US policy, good or bad; something happens tommorow .....

 

Should Q32025 results be as poor as anticipated, a Trump replacement could not be any economically worse! and likely a lot better. Change the monkey, markets instantly rise a thousand points+  

 

Trump is just another trading opportunity, with a higher than normal payoff if it works out. The political chatter has little to do with it.

People are talking about it because it has a massive impact on prices, jobs, interest rates, spending etc.  If it didnt, nobody would care and we could go back to focusing on the Epstein files. 

 

You used to have an independent view and would say that a lot of the actions were nuts or wrong but now youre arguing that firing the head of BLS isnt important because data is a "waste product of the US govenment", and are supporting traiff policy without being able to say why they make sense.

Ive never argued that. I have no opinion on the firing of the head of an agency I have no use for and one that as a taxpayer, Id prefer my money not be wasted on. It's as simple as that.

Yes, pure entertainment value. I cant imagine being so distressed over something so inconsequential that I ultimately have zero control over. The windmill stuff was obviously because he lost in court in Scotland and now the views of his golf course are ruined by offshore windmills, and he took the chance to give the EU a piece of his mind on the matter on the world stage.
