Defend DEI and the institutional racism - how about those Conservative & Jewish students in the IVY league, Berkley, Stanford, UCLA

Yes look at me defending institutional racism by having the gall to recognize the accomplishments of black Medal of Honor recipients and Jackie Robinson.

A little more target for our very special gang to assault:

Howard Marks: Just a couple of months ago, the U.S. economy was performing well, the outlook was positive, the stock market was at an all-time high, and there was much talk about American exceptionalism. Now, if Trump’s tariffs are put into effect, the U.S. economy is likely to experience a recession sooner than otherwise would have been the case, higher inflation, and extensive dislocation. Even if the tariffs are reversed entirely, it’s unlikely the other nations will dismiss this incident and conclude that they have nothing to worry about in terms of relations with the U.S.

Musk, at a cabinet meeting, appears to drastically reduce DOGE’s goal for cuts.

While stumping for Donald J. Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign, Elon Musk said he could cut $2 trillion from the federal budget. After Mr. Trump took office and placed Mr. Musk in charge of the budget-slashing so-called Department of Government Efficiency, Mr. Musk lowered that projection by half, to $1 trillion in the upcoming fiscal year.

In a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Mr. Musk appeared to set his group’s goal lower still.

“I’m excited to announce that we anticipate savings in ’26 from reduction of waste and fraud by $150 billion,” Mr. Musk told Mr. Trump, referring to the fiscal year, which runs from the beginning of October 2025 to the end of September 2026.

In his remarks, Mr. Musk said that he answered someone who asked how he finds fraud in government by saying, “Actually, just go in any direction — that’s how you find it.” He described it as a “target-rich environment.”

But the website that Mr. Musk’s group has used to tout its savings has been plagued by errors, including triple-counting the same cancellations and claiming credit for cutting programs that ended under President George W. Bush.

Come on don’t we know by know that there’s no bigger POS mouthpiece than Larry Summers? The guy who is always predicting incoming disaster and spouting negativity, yet none of his predictions have come close to matching the dearth of things he’s been an utter failure at when it comes to actually flipping the cards over.

Yeah, I don't care what Larry Summers says, but you have to admit yourself...Trump is just freestyling it like he's TuPac or Eminem!  Maybe we should start calling him Slim Shady!  Cheers!

He may not be a high IQ individual, but he is cunning as hell and history shows he usually has a pretty good and pretty unorthodox plan.

Unorthodox...yes.  Pretty good...hell no!  Cheers!

Anyone watching this tax bill just passed by the house? Am I going crazy or are they just going to blow out the deficit with $5 trillion of tax cuts and between $4B - $1.5 trillion of undefined savings?

I think he's pretty high IQ and cunning as you say but cunning in a narrow subset.........cause what I think is abundantly clear.......is Trump is a better campaigner than he is a governor. Good ideas, terrible execution.

I doubt if his IQ is above 120.  He is street smart, so yes he's cunning.  But we are dealing with someone that isn't bright, let alone anywhere remotely close to genius!  We're talking Gronk from the New England Patriots here!  Cheers!

The country just came out of a 4 year nightmare where:

- Freedoms were lost & suppressed, political opponents targeted, censored & jailed

- Equal rights for all, were institutionally legislated against

- Rule of the lawless became the norm, so long as you had the correct party affiliation

- Big government with associated corruption and massive waste ruled

We all got a taste of it.

Sorry, you mean the first 80 days of this administration, right?!  Cheers!

Turns it into mush?  MAGA's do behave like zombies though...so maybe.  I think there is a vaccine for it...oh wait a minute!  Cheers!

Regrettably I believe there is a material segment of Americans rooting against the US.  Apologists, those who make excuses for our past and present, and those who don't value safety, rule of law and even the merits of capitalism.

You can identify them from their silly red hats 😄

10 year yield continues to rise, the highest weekly gain in 25 years.

Looks like China is dumping treasuries to squeeze Trump. Very fascinating. Probably next week we will see a 90 day pause on China.

Who Blinks First...Xi or Trump?

This will be interesting...so far Trump is the one blinking regularly.  But with China tariffs jumping to 145% and Xi not reaching out to the U.S. contacts provided to him...hmmm!

And how much more pain will the markets incur from these two measuring dicks?  Trump has pretty small hands!  😂

Cheers!

Like I said before, if they nicer hats 🎩, America would be great again

America is already great (or at least it was before alt-right media paved the way for this asshole). It's sad how a populace that has had the best of everything has turned into a bunch of deluded, selfish pricks. America first? Fuck off, we already were first.

Great patriots.

Of course, this has nothing to do with DEI, since the above earned their success and  great respect.

The DEI idiots only care about sex, race and gender - real merit does NOT matter.
