Cuz for some reason people get emotionally invested in the personalities of random others...never understood it myself. Write the policies down on paper and I'll circle what I support and you can use that to tell what I'd vote for, even if it's a doorknob. The people are just necessary evils. Some folks are willing to play this game and get rich off it. Wether its Joe Biden whom became the owner of multiple mansions despite being a public servant his entire life, or Charlie Kirk who was 31, worth 8 figures despite having never held a real job, hung out with celebrities and the highest level politicians in the world, flew private, married Miss Arizona, and held these self aggrandizing pow wows in his spare time. This is the American system.

That makes sense. This was seemingly a pretty normally raised kid in terms of the boxes being checked. Clearly got brainwashed, spent to much time in his echos chambers, didnt get laid, got bitter about being a loser, fed his rage...ruined his life. Kids gotta get out and see/enjoy the world, and stay off the devices.

Im saying they "should be". The medias job should be to report the news. The news should be fairly factual. Instead the media has become just as if not more egregious than the politicians. At least politicians...no one should be taking seriously.
-
Everyone realizes that politicians are liars and promote rhetoric. The true threat to the people is an outfit like The NY Times that brandishes its once golden reputation to validate its blatant propaganda and agenda driven garbage. This kid, apparently of at least average intelligence, just fell for it hook, line and sinker and now ruined his life and destroyed at least two families.

Also don’t forget, Trump participated in a Comedy Central Roast right around the same time. It’s fair game. What’s telling is, well I encourage everyone to actually watch that roast because it’s hilarious, but what’s telling is….all the people in attendance claiming to be Trumps friends! It just goes to show how shallow, valueless and just in general fake the elitist class is.
-
Man, imagine losing a family member all because they were brainwashed into thinking everyone, everywhere, is a fascist(without probably knowing what a fascist is to begin with)? Very sad this whole thing.
-
This is the thing….ask liberals what they stand for…Because more often than not it’s some version of “against Trump”…and it’s still like ok, but what do you stand for. And then you still get some “against Trump” rhetoric. And then we go back to platform topics and it’s like do they really support violence? Theft of wages? Pure hatred of family values? Socialism? The overwhelming conclusion is that I think the majority are just quasi impoverished folks whom the system has failed, they don’t know any better. Then there’s a decent percent of ideological hacks, and then the core wealthy elitist who’s just super selfish and votes “against Trump” to satisfy their personal issues, whether it be a need to virtue signal or just some weird Trump fixation…knowing full well they won’t be affected by the stupidity their vote supports. That’s really the problem.

It is also not a single incident. This was a single instance of somebody with that many run ins with the law being free to commit another crime. But there’s plenty of these instances, and overwhelmingly, always in liberal run areas, and are the result of liberal politics, that the people of those areas voted for. How else does someone with that many priors, or in NYC where you have these subway terrorists with 4-5 dozen arrests, remain free on the streets; how does that happen???
-
Oh, like anyone who supports Trump is a racist and in a cult? In that case we didn’t even need an extremist event to occur, people just existed and were branded with said brush.
-
So, let’s look at North Carolina. Honestly it’s not even bad compared to many other places. Yet, you ask…how the fuck did someone with that record get cut loose so many times? And the answer is…because that’s what the people there found acceptable when they voted. Plain and simple. There’s parts of the country where a candidate who even whiffs of potentially being soft on crime…never gets anywhere close to being elected. The people there choose that this is not acceptable. And I think that’s part of the problem with a lot of the Libs….especially the wealthy, safe estate dwelling ones that don’t have to live with the consequences of their voting…they are too wrapped up in voting to satisfy personal virtue signal like luxury beliefs, or against candidates who’s “personalities” they don’t like…and they totally ignore the policies they’re voting for.
-
Not really. I mean what exactly do democrats stand for? Even on these threads(comprised of generally above average intelligence people) we see rationalization of crime, complete disregard for pretty harrowing statistics on the demographic of those perpetrators, even open acknowledgement that “no one should care” and that “a certain amount is ok”. What else is there to the platform? A feeling of entitlement to the confiscation of the wages of others? “Standing with” people with mental disorders that manifest by way of violence on the innocent?
-
You really have to wonder if the end of the Democratic Party is near. I mean the best they come up with is lying and fabricating things like Republicans are Nazis or Pedo supports. Stuff thats clearly just preposterous. But I mean what they stand for is becoming pretty hard to associate with. I mean every time one of these incidents happens...anyone with a brain can pretty much tell you "who done it", what they'll likely look like, and their ideology. And it's always the same cloth it's cut from.

Blake was an awesome contra. Too bad he retired
-
No they totally get it. It’s the embodiment of the left. Violence and innocent people being harmed…it’s not something they’re bothered by, it’s …funny…I guess
-
Yup. And the fact that somebody with the kind of rap sheet is out on the streets is 100% the product of, in this case, the people in NC whom voted for it. Pretty cut and dry.

From what I can tell, he stood for the right things. But he also made a fortune exploiting division which I detest. The larger point is the violence is abhorrent and unacceptable. Period. And I think it's pretty clear what MSM stands for. And I think it's almost factual when you state that ONE party pretty much owns the acceptance of violence. They and they only push for soft on crime legislation. They openly state that certain levels of crime are acceptable. They encourage violence against certain types. They do it in the name of "good" but it's largely a veil. Remember all the Nazis we were promised? Fast forward a decade, 5 years of which Trumps been in office, and the best we get on there Nazi front is stuff like "oh look an immigration officer doing his job" LMFAO. If there a party that stands for violence and openly pushes for the degradation of law and order or the free roaming of violent criminals, I think its almost factual at this point which one that is. But youre right. I dont like to follow much of this stuff. Its depressing. I dont want any part of it. Just wanna live my life around quality people. It's about individual choices. Whats sad is that theres fewer and fewer places in the country where thats doable these days.
-
This is also true. I mean the whole BLM crowd and those on the left completely ignore tremendous amounts of daily black on black crime because they can’t do anything politically with it…

100%. I didn’t even know who Charlie Kirk was til yesterday. After some brief reading, I may of course have it wrong, but what I got was... He was a 31 year old whom enriched himself, basically monetizing divisiveness. The Ukrainian girl was murdered taking the train home from her real world, society contributing job. Charlie on the other hand was at self aggrandizing pep rally. It’s all such a shame. If nothing else I think everyone needs to take a step back and on 9/11 especially, realize the dangers of ideology.
-
Think we're still below the "acceptable range", whatever that means.
-
No one would care about this if it wasn’t for the right wing media. The party of “hate has no home here” strikes again.
-
The old fashioned way is via private placement but now you can fairly easily participate via secondary market or platforms like EquityZen or Forge Global. The past half dozen or so tenders from Ripple have been for 6% of shares outstanding, each.
-
Ripple tendering for their own shares once again, this time at $250 per share. Probably setting the stages for a Q1 IPO.

lol wtf?!? This is in what way, shape or form related to having two candidates to pick from, with widely different policies, and no choice in their selection or personalities? I mean I’m sure amongst the deranged, obsessed, “other” “Trump followers”, you know, the ones that are obsessed with his every move and every gossip story or salacious rumor about him… I bet a bunch of them would blow DJT in exchange for having Gavin Newsome in office next term…but that doesn’t really have anymore relevance than folks letting Trump touch the woman in their lives. I did burst out laughing reading this question tho, it’s so absurd it’s funny.

Well, much to our amusement, that aint stopping some of em
