Yes, it's not the type of business I would invest in. It seems to be a stock that is on its way to zero. People still like to gamble on these types of stocks.

Yes, the world needs more guys like him: https://archive.is/yNGB0#selection-2376.0-2376.1 But not too many. I don't know where the equilibrium is but we're on the right track.

Thanks. If the countries across the world are smart they will copy the Chinese:

I had a dream where they bought INTC for that piggy bank money. I'm not sure how I could profit from this. I already own OXY. Here's Perplexity's (R1) ”how to position for potential financial gains”:

Definitely possible if someone at the Pentagon takes a look at what is happening in Ukraine and puts 2 and 2 together. Anduril was founded eight years ago and is innovating more than all of those companies together: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anduril_Industries

Seems DOGE is getting ideas from this board:

Thanks. Enjoying this in my armchair. Stay strong and healthy. -
Yes, Farouk Al-Kasim, the guy who saved Norway from being destroyed by oil by telling the Norwegians they had oil. Here's an FT article about him: https://archive.is/lEYl7#selection-2133.659-2146.1 Norway's government is run by humans and they are not able to keep their hands out of the cookie jar: https://www.norskpetroleum.no/en/economy/petroleum-tax/ ”Temporary changes” are still ongoing. The net government cash flow from petroleum activities has not yet recovered from the COVID-19 dip. Oh wait, I could be wrong:

Some BOL.PA.

”The effects of climate change” is politics depend on who you ask: The UK should ask Norway about the effects of climate change. If the UK doesn't pump oil, will it affect CO2 emissions in the UK? If the UK sets up a sovereign wealth oil fund and invests in nuclear energy, will they have a nuclear disaster or two within 100 years? Politics all the way down...

PLBY is showing some life again. I'm not familiar with the business performance. Sometimes business performance doesn't matter:

I checked my portfolio and found some European stocks, even some which are matching your description: STG.CO ASML LRE.L BRE2.ST DB1.DE RMV.L AQ.ST LIFCO-B.ST ENX.PA LGEN.L ADM.L LSEG.L BOL.PA ODET.PA REL.L I also checked some neutral data. It seems Europe is still investible. The DAX can be found here: I'm backing up my thesis with further data which I present to you here: I guess as always it depends on your perspective:

Are there incentives to take risks in the EU?

The Chinese are innovating and they have no issues with copying innovations either. - Many models are open source. Great for learning. - Research is accessible online: https://searchthearxiv.com/?q=llm&tab=papers - Lots of data can be downloaded, stolen, or generated by AI. - Most benchmarks are open source. Aligning models to benchmarks is easy, i.e., cheating on the exam overfitting is easy. - Closed-models (e.g. OpenAI) can be used (against policy) for teaching your own model (distillation) through APIs. Information AI wants to be free. The future is AI. AI is great for copycats, easy to copy, and impossible to prove what you copied:

Sounds like confiscation of tax payer investor money. I had to look up the tax policy: https://skat.dk/en-us/individuals/shares-and-securities Sounds a bit like the mafia (can't leave without getting beat up) and excessive, but the Danes at least get value in return for their taxes.

This is also how I squeeze returns from my investments. -
I have a medium-sized position in VRSN. They are probably not ”enlightened” enough to release any ”AI” products like GoDaddy, but I think it's better than cash:
