  1. Wow, he's fun to watch: https://twitter.com/search?q=argentina He's an economist and a politician that had his brain-to-mouth filter removed. I hope he fixes Argentina's economy.
  2. Xi and Putin are looking for "useful idiots": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Useful_idiot Sadly, Europe is full of them and is already paying the price in Ukraine. Will the US rescue Europe a third time? ”I think AI has the potential to create infinitely stable dictatorships”:
  3. I'm on a vacation and Netflix diet currently, so I haven't had time to watch it. Can't wait to watch it though. Hope it's as underrated and dark as Reptile.
  4. I've been reading about this power struggle with fascination. Until we know the details we can only guess. My bad interpretation is that it became a "techno-optimism" (Sam & Greg) vs. "socialist & AI safety" (Ilya & Helen) power struggle. Board members like Elon Musk have also been pushed out in a similar way: Helen Toner who is on the board is specifically there to ensure AI benefits all of humanity: https://openai.com/blog/helen-toner-joins It looks like Microsoft and the employees have the power now and the board will have to learn to behave according to for-profit principles and what it really means to work towards the "greater benefit of humanity". Sorry for my bad take and reductionist view on this important matter.
  5. We just have to ”unplug the bananas” from our ears to hear what he's really saying.
  6. Tobacco stonks. The market is telling me something. I don't know what. Maybe it's yelling, tobacco stocks are cheap, maybe not?

  8. Bill Gross was a bit bullish on bonds yesterday, now he's two days away from being bullish on regional banks: I've tried catching falling bonds unsuccessfully during the last few months and regional banks earlier this year. Bailed out with some blood on my hands. I know I shouldn't try to catch these things.
  9. PBR-A and second YOLO batch of TLT/ZROZ call options. Third time lucky?
  10. IMO, Reptile is an underrated movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13274016/ Probably too long and dark for people.
  11. Sounds like Ozempic lowers anxiety. Tobacco, fast food, drugs, sex, rock 'n' roll finally have a competitor. It's probably addicting too, but that's fine as it's approved by the government. Tobbacco investors watch out.
  12. Five-star armchair and LinkedIn generalissimo Ray Dalio thinks things might escalate, or not (50%-50% chance): https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/another-step-toward-international-war-ray-dalio/
  13. ZROZ and TLT options yesterday, LOL. Second try. Bailed on the first.
  14. Congratulations. I owned it for a while but gave up Seems the new CEO was wrong about his own company:

  17. Sold KWEB and BABA LEAPS. No more f***n around, I found out already. Bought some other LEAPS, TLT, etc.
  18. I meant: why do smart people perform studies that don't need to be repeated. “Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food.”. You are what you eat, do, think, believe, etc. I have chosen to do sports for fun, not drugs. Drugs are a form of escape for people who can't or won't choose life without drugs. It's difficult to avoid alcohol though. Technically alcohol is a depressant of the Central Nervous System (CNS). Sorry, now I'm rambling. Time to do something fun... Choices.
  19. The Killer will be a killer movie unlike 99% of movies released in recent years. "Brief sexuality" and "Netflix presents" makes me a bit sceptical though
  20. In this day and age, who still needs life-expectancy studies, especially when Trainspotting was released back in 1996? Does history repeat itself?
