Yeah, @Spekulatius, He may be severely overworked, too, on top of all the other things. The price to pay for all that is in life deferred, it's not for free in any way to do so. One day, one wake up, and it becomes evident, that care for body and mind is needed, to last longer, because invincibility doesen't last in the long run. YouTube : I Am Invincible! ~ Boris Grishenko (GOLDENEYE) 1995 [Perhaps I should add that 1 million bucks in hard currency is not enough today, because of 30 inflationary years!]

Thank you, @Buckeye, You're right. The Idepentdent [May 31st 2025] : Musk says black eye came from his son’s punch as he sports shiner during Oval Office meeting with Trump [where also the video clip of it is available]. So, really totally harmless and a nothing burger, - just father getting a bit physical with his son under play, interaction and concact. - - - o 0 o - - - I have edited my post above, as it was misleading, and unfair to Mr. Musk.
-
He told somebody, I diden't catch the name in the video, to 'have a go for it against him', which that other guy actually and unexpectedly did. And it is in the same video where your POTUS calls him [Musk] the smartest guy on the planet. I'm sorry for posting this in the wrong topic, it rightly belongs in the jokes topic. [ ] - - - o 0 o - - - Edit : The above content in this post was not in any way reasonable, nor fair, it was a small accident Mr. Musk has while playing around with his son, ref. below. I'll let the post stay here, thereby hanging myself to dry, with regard to precision needed in being totally clear cut in dealing with sources, to get things right.

Thank you for sharing, Sanjeev [ @Parsad ], What a sad and a bit weird story about Point Roberts to read. I had to fire up Google Earth to understand what you wrote. The issue with Canadian-Americans board line is just so weird, ref. Wikipedias page on Point Roberts :

- I had to google that - it even has its own Wikipedia article. Yeah, he looks like something dragged into the White House by the cat.

Status on American aspirations for taking [over ? / under ?] Greenland by now : The Economist [May 19th 2025] : American threats push Greenland closer to Denmark. If somebody here on CofB&F ask me about this part of the article : I'm going to answer such part, too. - - - o 0 o - - - For those subject to paywall, article attached. Economist - May 19 2025 - American threats push Greenland closer to Denmark - 20250530.pdf

@sleepydragon, I think many underestimate greatly the situational and contextual flexibility and variability in LVMHs total marketing and selling expenses, year by year, and over time. Perhaps we should continue the discussion in the separate LVMH topic in the Investment Ideas forum. - Please feel free to grab it from here and carry it over to there!

Added a bit today to MC.PA - LVMH-Moët Hennesy Louis Vuitton SE. - - - o 0 o - - - Done! - at least for now. ... Then back to sloth mode : [Source : Link]

Today, I stumbled on a post in my LinkedIn feed : Part 1 : Part 2 : Part 3 : And here is the link to the book [in Danish language] : - - - o 0 o - - - Link to the book in pdf format : Link. - - - o 0 o - - - And here I kindly ask if it would be possible to get the version of the book in English language made available in English language in pdf format, too [likely here in Danish language totally rubbish to you, except @kab60 and the Swedish board members, if any of them are visiting this topic [ ] : - - - o 0 o - - - Let's see if I end up with a link to the English language version of the book in pdf format here to share also. - I hope so! - - - o 0 o - - - Edit : Here we go : Link to book in English language version. -
Mike [ @cubsfan ], Ohh, please don't talk about automakers! Naturally, I've tried that too! I still sit on trackers in Volkswagen AG and Mercedes-Benz Group AG! Some times I even post in the Volkswagen topic here on CofB&F, and it always ends up with @Spekulatius asking me, why I haven't sold yet! Maybe it would be a good idea to reallocate ressources to Ferrari, and to hit on Susanne Klatten in stead of BMW! - - - o 0 o - - - Here on CofB&F we have this thing with a propensity to bashing selfpromotional money managers, striving for AUM instead of returns to their LPs. Guy Spier comes to mind here about that of being selfpromotional. But one thing he can't be accused of is bragging about his returns. He has actually made a ton of money [to his LPs and him] by simply holding on to exactly the Ferrari shares that he bought years ago [2016], however he has reduced position size twice, in 2020Q2 and 2024Q1.

@WFF, No, likely more MC.PA or CDI.PA tomorrow, and then I'm done - I'm totally exhausted by spending most of the work hours - and more! - this week - almost glued to a monitor and a keyboard, adjusting orders all the time! -And todays trade in CDI really ended up to suck! Here is a screen shot of me from the camera in my laptop today: - - - o 0 o - - - Today is actually a Danish holliday, but Euronext Paris is open for business today! - I'm likely the only Danish guy who has done anything today! - - - o 0 o - - - Hermes is interesting though! - - - o 0 o - - - Still up for some fun also with JOE 'the rest af the day' though [every day ending at 10:00 p.m. my local time here in Denmark], if it will as I will, -and also tomorrow!
-
Added today a bit to : CDI.PA - Christian Dior SE.

@adventurer, In what I call 'the big 5', right now 69,69 percent, 6 positions at 3 - 4 percent, and that part consists 20,73 percent, the rest does not really matter much but contains a lot of names in miscellaneous stuff, where I from time to time use basket approach, i.e. Swedish real estate, Danish small commmunity banks recently. [Percentages at yesterdays closing prices].

It's almost killing me! -And a car salesman! - At least you have to give him, that he appears to be much better at rockets than that little NK rocket man, who obviously haven't ever heard of Wegovy or Mounjaro!
-
Naturally! - What was I thinking, if at all?
-
Mike [ @cubsfan ], Yes, it's unfortunately that simple, and certainly a calamity of dimensions. I remember a post by Lars [ @Viking ] pre merger of all political topics here on CofB&F in the topic about the Russian-Ukranian war' then, now merged into the political CofB&F 'soup' of that merger somewhere, stating about the Russian population that it was having no democratic culture, nor mindset. In Microsoft language, is was long time ago called WYSIWYG. Ignorance and lack of culture are the worst enemies of progress.

Here is some constructive input to how to do it, in a smooth transition, just meant as an example [ John *coughs* ] :

@Santayana, You must really have knack for it! - I mean daytrading second hand books for a living and at the same time owning a large pile of them. I'm pretty sure, I personally in such situation quite fast would end up very hungry.

A similar system already exists within EU, and is in effect : European Union - EUR-Lex : EU emissions trading system. -
HEI trades according to Morningstar at P/E 79 and P/B around 11. Imagine Berkshire paying a take private premium to that. [Qualification and disclosure : Long time since I last time looked at it.]

Added a bit today to : MC.PA - LVMH-Moët Hennesy Louis Vuitton SE. Started two new small positions in tiny Danish community banks : HVID.CPH - Hvidberg Bank A/S, & DJUR.CPH - Djurslands Bank A/S, - - - o 0 o - - - After which I think I'm finally done snooping around out in the 27th potato row of the Danish banking field, and I am now crawling back from the middle of nowhere, to the city where the famous Danish poet Hans Christian Andersen was born - Odense - which city is also in the middle of nowhere.

@Marco Van Basten, For request for CofB&F user board handle change here on CofB&F, you'll just have to get in contact with Sanjeev [ @Parsad ]. I'm pretty sure Sanjeev will fulfill your wishes, within reasoanable requests, and subject to that applied new board handle isen't already taken. [The last part you can check by your self by using the search feature here on CofB&F, doing members searches].

I think we perhaps miss each other here, @gfp. It's about adressing things to the right address. There is no way that my perception of how you think and do, - expressed by you personally here on CofB&F, could be judged by what's going on in American politics, and American foreign policy.
