  1. Oh yea? Well I sold MSFT for mediocre gains before the massive cloud computing take off (too dumb to understand the potential)!
  2. Yea I remember taking a shot at MSFT in 2011 when its free cash flow yield was over 10%, while short term Treasuries were 0% and 10 year was around 2%. I understood the negativity with MSFT at the time, with Ballmer as CEO and Windows phones but the company was printing money (and stuff like MS Office were not going away) and what was my alternative, get 0.25% in my savings account? Now MSFT is $2.5Tril 30X PE because of AI and the cloud, even though Treasury Bills are 5%... Haha
  3. Bought TLT Los Angeles egg prices down to pre-Covid!!!
  4. Boy these interest rates sure are high. My credit is 820+ and Chase is offering me 7.16% for car loans. 7% plus! And 30 year fixed mortgages are almost 8%! This has to come down a little at some point, no?
  5. Wow, $3> gas prices. I think I saw that once at the ARCO gas station on Olympic Blvd. Once.
  6. Well it finally happened, egg prices came back down to pre Covid price of $2.99 per dozen at Ralph's on Western Ave here in Los Angeles. It only took 3 years!
  7. Yea man how can you get proper nutrition without the pepperoni pizzas haha
  8. I agree with you, SPX could move sideways for 5-10 years
  9. All these eggs? Come on guys you're not Rocky training to fight Apollo
  10. I think this has a good chance of working out well - some of these companies are despised by basically everyone yet remain very profitable. I own some of these so I guess I'm biased haha
  11. Too much US Debt? Maybe! https://divestor.com/?p=11849
  12. This forum is okay but it lacks the YOLO 0DTE SPY options Loss Porn that Reddit has. No place is perfect, I guess
  13. Haha thanks. These NVDA calls constitute a tiny part of my portfolio and I take them because of nothing more than feelings. Like for whatever reason I feel like NVDA will continue to grind up through the end of the year. If it turns out that I'm wrong and I lose then hey, that was good laffs
  14. Bought some $600 Dec 23 NVDA calls for laffs Like a moth to a flame, I couldn't stay away
  15. Yea that's why I don't like value investing, sometimes there is too much pain involved. It's not as bad as trying to make money shorting but still. I prefer to make money copying other people's good ideas. That's the good stuff, and you can even pretend like it was your idea all along!
  16. Oh man I watched this video so many times. I mean it never gets old baby Never gets old
  17. Here's some thoughts about interest rates: https://divestor.com/?p=11817
  18. Well of course, I don't wanna lose $$$ for 10+ years like that that Hussman guy or something Anyway, 4000 SPX!!!
  19. Maybe SPX will hit 4000. I should probably buy a lot at that point
  20. Come on guys, you gotta give people a break. People are dumber now because they can get away with it. Look at me, back in the 90s I used to be able to remember phone numbers pretty well but now I can't remember anything because it's all on my iphone!
  21. Well I for one welcome volatility that lasts 5-10 years due to stuff like these bottlenecks. There's gotta good opportunities that result from such volatility and I'm sure I can make money while being lazy as hell by copying good ideas from this place! haha
