Charlie Posted June 6 Posted June 6 In 2 hours begins the test game of the USA against Germany. It will be interesting to see if both teams are ready for the FIFA World Cup 2026 next week.
brobro777 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 All I can think when it comes to World Cup is Germany destroying Brazil by like 7 goals I thought the Germans were going to score 10 goals and I think they could have but stopped - against Brazil!
rogermunibond Posted June 7 Posted June 7 My WC bet is Brazil to win at +900 odds. A young team with a extremely good manager for these situations.
backtothebeach Posted Tuesday at 09:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:59 PM Fox Sports https://www.youtube.com/@foxsports puts all games on YouTube in 2 versions: ~10 minute highlights, and ~20 minute extended highlights. Without putting the result in the video title, suspense not killed! And if you are strapped for time, there is also a recap of all matches of a day, mostly goals, in 10 minutes. If you are outside the U.S., you can use a VPN to put yourself in the U.S. Sometimes YouTube blocks VPNs, it helps to open in a private tab and go to a state with a lesser used VPN, not east or west coast.
Spekulatius Posted Tuesday at 10:47 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:47 PM I watch this in Peacock. Their Telemundo channel has all the games but commentators are speaking Spanish (which I don’t mind).

KC is presently really excited and busy with Argentina and Algeria both playing and practicing here as their home base (England & The Netherlands too). Seems like all have great fan bases. I didn’t know what to expect, but wow!

ValueNation Posted Wednesday at 04:06 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:06 AM Messi's hattrick today was quite impressive. The pressure is on Ronaldo now...
Paarslaars Posted Wednesday at 03:58 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:58 PM Not seeing a lot of matches here as the time difference makes it difficult. Watched my country play against Egypt though, we sucked balls. Coach needs to get his act together or we won't last long.
Parsad Posted Wednesday at 09:44 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:44 PM Germany looks dangerous to me! Need to see them play more, but their touch was terrific and they were constantly a threat. Cheers!
Marco Van Basten Posted Wednesday at 10:51 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:51 PM UK vs Croatia, what a game!
Spekulatius Posted yesterday at 12:17 AM Posted yesterday at 12:17 AM I believe this is the first time, that a country at war with a host country (Iran - USA) plays in a World Cup. Funny that nobody talks about it.

While Team Melli earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw vs New Zealand, they’re facing major disadvantages off the pitch and could be the reason we didn’t win our first game. • Training base in Tijuana, Mexico (forced to relocate from Arizona due to visa/security issues) • Must return to Mexico the same night after US matches — 5+ hours of travel + border delays, killing recovery time • 15+ key staff & officials denied US visas, leaving the team short on support • Limited fan tickets and extra political pressure The team feels oppressed how they are treated. It’s sad how politics bled into sports. Edited 4 hours ago by ourkid8

No booing when the national hymn was playing , so there is that. I am surprised they are playing at all- typically sports teams can’t play in countries they are at war with.
