Let's not make fun of someone who actually accepted peace...doesn't that defeat exactly what you want?  And so far, he's not letting Israel push the buttons here, but they may act unilaterally and then we have to see how the U.S. reacts.  Cheers!

Iran gets their oil facility bombed AND then Iran gives away their ONLY leverage - which is to keep the SOH closed. 

 

So the Gulf States get to ship as much oil as they like to ANYONE, including Iran's enemies.., while the Iranians continue to negotiate saving their remaining infrastructure....

 

You just have to LOVE Trump's Art of the Deal.

Peace is always the right outcome. And I have to assume that Iran will get none of the things in its 10 point list.  So if this holds, after 4 weeks of war, with both sides blowing stuff up and having people killed we end up exactly where we were before it started.  Same regime.  Same nuclear ambitions. Same ability wreak havoc in the region and defend itself.  SoH open for business.  So absolutely nothing has changed. 

 

What was the point of this again?

Even though he won't get one, if there is lasting peace for at least 10 years, he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.  

 

But kind of hard to get an award like that when you threaten the existence of an entire country.  Still, this is a good thing for the Middle East if it lasts.  

 

I don't believe in God, but I hope he/she makes it happen!  Cheers!

We'll have to wait and see what parts of the proposals each side accepts.  You also know that Bibi is going to ratchet up the pressure on the proposals.  I also would not be surprised to see Bibi destroy any proposed peace plan by conducting unilateral selective attacks.  Bibi and the hardliners would not be happy with anything less than regime change.  So that is the biggest risk here right now on any deal happening!  Cheers!
