Greatness is always in the eye of the beholder. I was in love with Obama for a few years - his charisma, sense of humor, boldness in discussing unity. Then suddenly and unexpectedly - it all changed to division and identity politics. I was SO disappointed that in spite of Chicago being absolutely in love with him (white & black alike) - that he did NOTHING for Chicago's black community - the awful ghettos, gangs, murders, schools and crime. Once done with his Presidency - it's off to Martha's Vineyard and Hollywood - with not a care in the world for Chicago's black community. He had the potential to be our greatest President.
