I know the moment I start joining in on that trade it's going to reverse so I am just holding...
-
I believe it is still unknown if he actually had anything to do with it himself.

Because you sold... I have the other problem, typically bear runs start when I buy.

Bought some KULR options yesterday. Also switched the kids BRK portfolio to FFH.

Gonna give that tiramisu a try. That said, there is a lot of growth already factored into the stock price and on the earnings call they said they do not have the capacity available at the moment to fill the demand. You are paying > 50 times earnings here...

Why?

That's not good...

White House crypto czar David Sacks says first priority is stablecoin legislation – NBC Chicago Not a fan of all the stable coin talk but interesting to see them talking about a SBR seperate from the sovereign fund.

That's just +/- recovering from what they lost yesterday. Probably because tarrifs got postponed.

How is that fund different from a federal gold reserve that is no longer tied to your currency?
-
Considering the capital people on here have, most can easily fork over the extra 50$ for a second account to temporarily switch to. I think you'll be implementing the digital equivalence of a swear jar Parsad.

Interesting. With the risk of completely derailing the thread: both of them are pro BTC I believe.
-
You're not getting it. Liquidity wasn't the problem, QE is inflationary, people's savings get whiped out by all the money printing. This is why BTC will be succesful.
-
I understand that but does it really make a difference? If the underlying business is not below the book value multiple Buffet likes and book value does not grow, Buffet will not buy back stock and your returns are solely dependent on others. I mean, there is no inside capital for gold right? Still valued at like 20T. Have all gold investors been wrong for the past 1000 years?

Haha no it's something else. When I was a young teen I had fluorecent green shoes. So I got the nickname 'groenschoen' from a friend. Used that in gaming a lot but apparently others liked it because it was often picked after a few years. So I figured I would pick similar names where the color rhymes with the noun. Came up with 'paarslaars' as the main one and 'roodpoot' as the backup.

I'll work on it

We have literally had this exact discussion on here already couple of months back I believe. Berkshire buying back shares, is someone buying into it. BTC would go up as well if a large holder buys more BTC...
-
Dutch. My nickname actually means purple (paars) boot (laars). Long story...

In the quote I posted? English isn't my native language but my comprehensive reading is sufficient to properly understand his statement... He said it would be arrogant for someone to assume they are better than Buffet at investing in anything. That means he believes Buffet to be superior irregardless of the subject... That is ridiculous. And he has made the reference countless of times that Buffet thinks BTC is worthless... I am simply pointing out that even the great Buffet has been wrong plenty of times where others were right. I believe this is one of those times. The comment about Maxwell was a reference to his blind devotion to Buffet, not calling him a child trafficker or anything.
-
Wow he really made you drink the coolaid. This basically means Buffet knows more about investing in anything than anyone on the planet? Come on man, you idolize him more than Ghislaine did with Epstein. Buffet has been wrong plenty of times in his investments, no need to pretend like he is an infallable god... I would never claim it's stupid not to invest in bitcoin, plenty of other ways to make money. But I strongly doubt nobody has a more comprehensive understanding of it than you do.
-
With all due respect but this is extremely arrogant... Most people who own BTC have spend much much more time on it than those who don't. Those who don't have likely found one aspect of it not to their liking and put it in the 'not for me' or 'too hard pile'. So far, those who own it have been consistently proven to be right. Who knows what time will tell. For BRK in particular, I feel like not owning BTC is a bigger risk than owning it. They would do well allocating 5% of their huge cash reserves into BTC, even just as a hedge.

And you are too young to waste your life on threads you disagree with. Go out, have some fun, find a nice girl or guy that keeps you away from the dangerous crypto folk.
